My heart has been aching all day 😔

I honestly don’t even know where to begin.

Kristie Brady wasn’t just a client to me, she became such a dear friend. From the moment we met, it felt like we had known each other for years. Over the last 3 years, Kristie has been coming to me every 2 weeks without fail, but our appointments became so much more than nails. They became catch-ups, therapy sessions, laughter, tears and conversations about absolutely everything and anything. I always made sure to book extra time for her because we could talk for hours. She always looked forward to her nail appointments and I always loved having her in my little space.

Kristie absolutely adored her children; Emily, Jake and Nathaniel. Every appointment she would proudly update me on their achievements, the things they were doing and just how proud she was to be their mum. Her love and pride for them would always beam through in every conversation.

She also loved talking about which concerts she'd recently been to, oh and everything Everton related. If I ever tried suggesting a colour even remotely close to a red, she would just snarl me 😄 it was always anything blue which will forever remind me of her now.

I am going to miss her more than words can explain. The salon will not feel the same without her. Thank you for your friendship Kristie. I’ll carry our conversations and memories with me always 💙

MY CLIENTS NAIL JOURNEY 😍

This client has been coming to me for well over 2 years now. She would always try and grow her own nails but they'd get to a certain length and they'd just snap. She also hated how "stubby" her nail beds were. But after over 2 years of regular appointments and maintenance, you can actually see the different in the length of her nail beds. How much longer and narrower they are. When some techs say "Oh that's just the shape of them we can't change that" or "Let's just keep them short and stick some tips on" 🤦🏻‍♀️ immediately it's a no from me ✋🏻 I will always recommend trying to grow your own natural nails. Honestly with a bit a patience and a good amount of time, we can train your nails to be as beautiful as they can possibly be 🥰
