The key difference with Sculptra compared to ordinary injectable dermal fillers is that it actually works by promoting localised collagen production within the skin. This makes it a very natural-looking treatment. It also means that results last longer than ordinary fillers, as natural collagen depletes at a slower rate than injectable volumisers like standard hyaluronic acid.

I often get asked alternatives to polynucleotides to help with dark eye hyperpigmentation (around the eye area and on the eyelids) and skin quality (fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes) …..by clients who

- do not want injectables
- not keen on DNA extracts from other sources to be used in their skin (polynucleotides)
