GHANA FINALLY DID THIS FOR MOTHERS🤱🫃
On 31st March 2026, Ghana launched its Maternal Mental Health Policy, a historic step toward protecting the emotional and psychological wellbeing of pregnant women and mothers across the country.
Maternal health is not only about surviving childbirth.
Every mother deserves care not just for her body, but for her mind too.

Do you believe in miracles? Because after yesterday, I do even more.
I had a 42-year-old woman who conceived for the very first time in her life naturally. She had been attending antenatal faithfully.
Yesterday, I received a call that she had been rushed in.
After assessment, we prepared for an emergency CS.Just when we were about to take her in for surgery using the emergency drugs we had available in theatre because she couldn't afford them, I received a random text message from my good friend, Rita Anyang-kusi and everything changed!

"Heya , I hope all is well
Tomorrow being Mother’s Day I just thought maybe I can pay some hospital bills for mothers
How would I go about doing that?"
I FROZE !
The timing was unbelievable. I immediately told her about this woman, and within just 30 minutes, Rita had sent money to cover ALL her medications and the FULL cost of the surgery.
And just like that… this 42-year-old first-time mother safely delivered a beautiful, bouncing baby boy through cesarean section yesterday.
Listen, God works through people. Sometimes miracles don’t fall from the sky, they come through human beings with kind hearts who obey the voice of compassion.
RITA A. K**I, may God richly bless you.
You continue to show up for people, and yesterday, you became part of a miracle story that this mother will never forget.
Happy Mother’s Day indeed.

UPDATE !!!!
I have received messages from kindhearted people who would love to help settle hospital bills for some mothers today.
If you know of any woman who has delivered but is struggling to pay her medical bills, kindly share her story in the comments or send a message. Let’s make this Mother’s Day a little lighter and more beautiful for someone.
