I am currently in Washington D.C. leading a delegation to represent the New Patriotic Party(NPP), together with other political leaders around the world, to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the International Democrat Union (IDU). The NPP has been a longstanding member of the IDU alongside other centre-right parties across the world.

The President of the Republic of Ghana, H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo delivered the keynote speech on A New Vision Africa. His speech resonated strongly with the audience and presented a clear direction on the way forward for the African people. The NPP continues to present itself as a party of choice and model party both locally and internationally.

Also, attending the forum from the NPP was the Deputy National Women’s Organiser of the NPP, Miriam Awurama Duah, the DUA Co-Chair, Louisa Atta-Agyemang, The NPP- Washington DC chapter Chairman, Janis Asare Bediako and his chapter executives.
