Ikaria is one of those places you don’t fully understand until you experience it 🇬🇷
It’s not polished, it’s not predictable, and it definitely doesn’t follow a schedule. But the food, the people, the energy… it stays with you.
If you’re looking for a Greek island that feels real, a little chaotic, and completely unforgettable, Ikaria might be your place.

Let’s be honest… Santorini and Mykonos get all the attention 🇬🇷
But if you’re looking for that dreamy Cycladic vibe without the crowds, these are the islands I’d recommend every time.
Serifos for raw beauty and unreal views
Sifnos for food and laid back charm
Syros for something a little different and full of character.
Same whitewashed villages, same blue water… just a much better experience.

To be honest I am chowing down on Dakos, dolmades, and keftedes in Crete. I’m trying to be consistent again.
If you’re staying in Athens and want a little island moment, these are the day trips I’d start with 🇬🇷 To be honest, I suggest you stay overnight or longer.
🫏 Hydra for the prettiest strolls and no cars
🌲 Poros for a laid back harbor town feel
💦 Agistri for clear water and an easy beach day
🐟 Aegina for the classic quick island escape
You do not need a huge island hopping itinerary to get a taste of the Greek islands. Sometimes one ferry and one really good lunch is enough.

Athens just hits different from a rooftop 🍸🌇
Whether you’re watching the sun drop behind the Acropolis, sipping cocktails with friends, or just soaking in the city lights, these rooftops are where Athens really shows off. Some are trendy, some are hidden, all of them are worth it.
✨ Add these to your Athens list now so you’re not scrambling later.

Am I being just a little too dramatic here? Or am I just a little too hydrated on freddo espresso ☕️🇬🇷

Let’s be honest, Athens is chaotic, charming, and delicious.
After eating my way through the city (for research, of course 😉), these are the spots I’d recommend to literally anyone visiting.
Whether you’re craving classic Greek dishes, Japanese skewers, or pasta with a side of people-watching, this list has you covered.
📍From Kolonaki to Paleo Faliro by the sea, these are the restaurants I keep going back to, and they never disappoint.

If you only had 48 hours in Athens, what would you do? 👀
Here’s how I’d soak it up: ancient wonders, rooftop drinks, and a whole lot of souvlaki.
Swipe through for the perfect mix of iconic and unexpected, you won’t waste a single second. ⏳🇬🇷

Retro vibes outside, moody glow inside, Argentina The Social Club is the new all-day bar shaking things up near Ilisia/Hilton (just a stroll from Evangelismos metro).
Had the best girl time with checking this place out. She always finds the best spots.
From breakfast bites and espresso to charcuterie boards and cocktails, this spot has range, and the playlist to match.

Ever hear someone say they “ate wood” or “lost their eggs and basket”... and just smile because you had no idea what was happening? 😅
Same.
Greek idioms are dramatic, chaotic, and make zero sense when translated, but somehow they’re perfect. I just love idioms. You?
