SKILLSHARE: Cold Process Soap Making
In this offering, Gardener Lisa Galvin will be sharing her handmade soaps and teaching sisters the process of making them! These soaps are 100% natural, NO chemicals, NO alcohol, NO perfume cold process soaps.
The ingredients used are mainly oils such as Castor oil, Camellia Oil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil and others as well as butters such as Shea and Unrefined Cocoa Butter. All these ingredients have their own properties and benefits. To these natural pure essential oils such as Tea Tree, Ylang Ylang, Bergamot, Red Rose, Lemongrass, etc. are added. Each oil brings an array of properties - antibacterial, rich in antioxidants, calming, energising or seductive scents. Sisters will learn how to craft soaps from their own kitchens using safe and natural ingredients.

One thing I love about making soap is the creative process behind the colours.
From the luscious dark green while wet, these Rose Soaps turn into a soft green beige once dry; giving them a vintage touch.
