Our Dún na Rí candles are cured for two weeks before they’re ready. While on a four-week artist residency at the Irlandais (CCI) in Paris, I began learning the art of perfume making. After a visit to Grasse—the heart of French perfumery—I returned to Ireland inspired, and developed this candle to capture the essence of the forest floor.
As children, we walked the trails of Dún na Rí Forest and had picnics beneath its ancient trees. This candle is a tribute to those memories: earthy, green, and grounding—just like the woods we knew.

Inspired by Bloom’s purchase of the “sweet lemony wax,” our lemon soap captures that same essence—something you can carry with you all day.
We are delighted to offer this special lemon soap for sale on our website, handcrafted by Clarkes of Dublin, artisan makers of bathing and shaving products.
Sweny’s Pharmacy, famously featured in the fifth episode of Ulysses, “Lotus Eaters,” has stood since 1847 and still retains all its original fixtures and fittings. This charming little shop welcomes visitors each Bloomsday to experience its timeless atmosphere. Stand by the counter like Leopold Bloom, taking in the scent of herbs and ointments, and imagine “tall his alabaster lilypots.” Link in bio

This is the mammy Carmel the woman behind the woman. Every international woman’s day she would say to my sister and me. Now girls don’t forget to wear purple today. She taught me how to sew, always had glitter in hand we even made a bunny rabbit from the p***y willow buds. So grateful to the photographer that took our photo together
