To say I’m proud is an understatement right now.
Only four weeks into using the talking device at school, and our son King Joey has come on amazingly well. Soon, we’ll have it at home to , and I honestly couldn’t be prouder of him.
He is 14 years old now, and when I think back to where this journey started using cards when he was only three years of age to where we are today, it fills my heart with so much emotion. It has been a long road, but seeing him grow, learn, and communicate more every single day is something truly incredible.
He also has the most amazing teacher and two SNAs who go above and beyond for him every single day. Their patience, care, support, and belief in him mean more to us than words could ever say, and we are so grateful for everything they do for our boy.
I can’t help but wonder sometimes if one day I’ll hear the words come out of his mouth. But no matter what, my son amazes me every single day. His strength, his progress, and the joy he brings into our lives are beyond words.

The amazing little AJ came to me today for his haircut 💇♂️💙
As many people know, AJ is 4 years old and is living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). AJ is also autistic and non-verbal. His family are currently trying to raise money to bring him to America for treatment that could help his condition.
Their GoFundMe link is attached in the photos. If anyone can help or support this lovely family in any way, it would be greatly appreciated. Every donation, share, and prayer means so much 🙏
AJ will always have free haircuts from me ✂️💙

Just sharing for anyone who might be interested 💙💗
There’s a sensory play session happening this Sunday from 12–4 in the square, featuring an amazing sensory room designed especially for children. It’s a calm, safe, and engaging space where little ones can explore, play, and feel completely at ease.
As a mobile barber working with children and adults with additional needs, I know how valuable spaces like this can be — definitely worth checking out!

Amazing week at Dees Cuts 24 💙
So proud of all my children and adult clients and how amazing they are all doing now getting their haircuts 💙 It’s all about building trust, being patient, and making everyone feel comfortable and safe 🥳
One of my adult clients asked his mam for me to come to cut his hair this week which meant so much to me as it’s taken time to build up to his 🥹💙and Monday I got to meet an amazing 94 year old man cut his hair and have a cuppa and chat with him and his family 💙( Mondays are my free cut day )
I’ve also met so many lovely new clients and friends over the last two weeks , and the support we all give each other is amazing.
I always ask parents and carers for permission before posting any photographs and only share photos when permission is given 💙✂️ hope everyone enjoys their Sunday 💙🩷
