Elegant winged liner

A classic winged liner on it's own is one of my favourite beauty looks to create. A liner like this has the ability to define the eyes so simply yet so beautifully.
There are plenty of products you can buy now to achieve your wings, liquids, gels, pens, kohl pencils and even stamps. If you are a little unsteady with your hand then opt for a gel or pencil and then use a small brush to smudge the edges.
In this make up I used a gel pot from MAC called 'Dipdown' and smoked it out with a brown eyeshadow. It's a slightly softer look than a clean crisp line. Extending the wing slightly upwards and outwards from the outer corner of the eye will elongate and accentuate the eyes. Pop on a pair of fluffy lashes for instant glamour.

Roisin was the most exquisite bride and the epitome of a lady. Looking like she had stepped off the Victoria Secret runway, Roisin brought ALL the glamour to Galway on Monday morning.

This beauty from the Netherlands had never had her make up done and was slightly nervous because she told me she had spent years "accepting her own skin"

To use the word 'Modest' to describe this beauty would be an understatement. Some brides really have no idea of just how beautiful they are. Cathy asked me to create natural looking skin for her and to define those fabulous big malteser eyes.

It was a privilege to be asked to help Cathy get ready for her wedding morning and to see the spotlight only on her.

New Mum Make Up 💕

Wearing makeup and being a new mum aren’t always things that go hand in hand.
I have an 8 week old baby and a 2 year old busy toddler so I know that you don't even have a second to think sometimes.
But I realised with my first baby that the power of make up is key in making me feel like life is a little more ‘together’ than it might actually be.

It can be very challenging trying to find the time but somewhere in between nappies, feeding and playing I'll grab 5 minutes for my base, 5 for adding colour and 5 for brows and mascara, usually applied with one hand while rocking the baby with the other!
Even after the worst night of broken sleep, it’s amazing what a few moments of makeup can do to make you feel you can tackle the day!

Choose products you know make you feel great, go for bronzer and blusher with good colour pay off because you won't have time to build it up. Opt for a hydrating lipstick/gloss so you don't have to think about dry lips and finish with a waterproof mascara so it stays put! My best tip, as always, is look after your skin. If you skin is nourished and hydrated then you make-up will be easy.

Blue eyes don't need much help standing out. But if you really want make them pop then using warm metals and rich browns like these are perfect for your baby blues!
