*J&K POLICE KATHUA SEIZED 02 TRACTOR ALONGWITH TROLLEYS FOR ILLEGAL MINING AT BILLAWAR AREA*

KATHUA; 12 DEC: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, J&K Police Kathua under the overall supervision of *SSP Kathua Ms. Mohita Sharma IPS* has seized a total of 02 vehicles i.e (02 Tractor alongwith Trolleys ) in the jurisdictional area of P/S Billawar which were being used for illegal mining/transportation of the construction material (Without A Form).

On 12/12/2025 police team led by SHO PS Billawar Insp. Zaheer Mushtaq under the guidance of *SDPO Billawar Sh. Neeraj Padyar JKPS* while performing patrolling duty in its jurisdictional area, has seized 02 vehicles ( Tractor Trolleys bearing Reg. No.s Jk08P-8093 & JK08P-5175 ) indulged in illegal mining / transportation of construction material without any legal permission.

The above mentioned 02 vehicles( 02 Tractor Trolleys) have been seized by Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Kathua for further legal action.

J&K Police Kathua organized Free Medical Camp under "Nasha Mukt Bharat" Campaign at Billawar*

Kathua; 03 November:- Continuing its commitment towards community welfare and social responsibility, J&K Police Kathua under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua Ms. Mohita Sharma IPS today organized a free medical camp under the banner of “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan” at P/S Billawar, as part of its Civic Action Programme 2025-26.

The medical camp was set up with the aim of providing basic health care services to the local population,police personels while also raising awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse. A team of qualified doctors and paramedical staff offered free consultation, diagnosis, and distribution of essential medicines to various beneficiaries in said location.

Locals, including senior citizens, and children, turned out in large numbers and expressed their appreciation for the initiative. Special session was also held to educate the youth about the dangers of substance abuse and to encourage a healthy and productive lifestyle.

Senior police officers from the Sub-Division Billawar i.e SP Ops Billawar Sh. Aumar Iqbal- JKPS, SDPO Billawar Sh. Neeraj Padyar & SHO PS Billawar Insp. Zaheer Mushtaq supervised the arrangements and reiterated the police department’s commitment to work hand-in-hand with the community in eradicating the drug menace from society.

Jammu October 18th,2024:- As part of the preparations for the National Police Day, celebrated annually on October 21st, to honour the and of our personnel, a series of welfare activities have been organized in the Zone. All the nodal officers of the ten districts of Jammu Zone have held activities and undertaken initiatives that are aimed at supporting the families of and promoting community engagement.
