Sarvangasana.

Sarvangasana is called the mother of all yoga asanas, as it affects all parts of the body.
This asana is also done as an alternative to Sirsasana.
Those who cannot do Sirsasana, they can get all the benefits of Sirsasana by doing Sarvangasana.

Sarvangasana is especially beneficial for purifying and strengthening blood circulation and for cleaning dirty blood vessels (veins).
We either stand or sit throughout the day. Our heart (which is located on the left side of the chest) carries blood through the arteries throughout the body to support the body. When blood moves through the heart, it has a high amount of oxygen, so it runs faster in the veins and reaches every part of the body easily, but when it is collected from the body's disorder, it is returned to the heart through the veins.

In this posture, when we lift the body from the neck and raise our legs, then the veins get convenience in running the blood towards the heart, due to which the veins become pure and clean.
The special importance of this asana lies in staying in a perfect position for about 2 to 5 minutes.
