- President of Iranian Association of Endodontics (2013-present).
- Academic member of Endodontics department in Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS).
- Visiting professor of Endodontics, Bahçeşehir University (BAU), Istanbul, Turkey.
- visiting professor of Endodontics, Faculty of Dentistry, University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), Spain.
- Director of the International Relation of Tehran University of Medical Sciences.
- Group Leader of Endodontolgy Research Group in Cardiff University (2004-2014).
- Member of the Editorial Board of the International Endodontic Journal (IEJ), and acts as a scientific reviewer for a series of endodontics/dental journals.
- Has written a book chapter in the textbook named Endodontic Advances and Evidence-Based Clinical Guidelines edited by Hany M. A. Ahmed, Paul M. H. Dummer.
- Has written more than 100 papers, published in peer-reviewed journals which have been cited more than 3800 times created an H index equal to 31.
- Has been invited as a keynote speaker internationally to give lectures in different professional dental/endodontics congresses or Universities around the world.
