Kimono is often made of pure silk although polyester has become more and more popular due to convenience of washing and storing. A pure silk kimono can costs hundreds of thousands of yen 😱
At Kimono adventure we help the kimono industry by taking out the old. I have found the most amazing pieces at my local recycle shop. My favorite kimono being only 500yen! That's less than 5 USD!!
If you come shopping with me you can take home your perfect kimono set but you don't have to! You can also shop purely for pieces to display at home in different ways or wear with modern clothes! There's no such thing as appropriation with kimono. Help keep the Kimono Industry alive 👘🛍️
