I recently went on a solo staycation at to break my routine.
It was so invigorating and refreshing.
I woke up to views of the city and greenery around me. I got to clear my mind and review my life goals. Such a quiet space to slow down your busy life. It was a bliss💫
They have an offer of kshs. 4,000 per couple for bed only and kshs. 6,000 per couple for bed and breakfast. The offer is valid over the weekends. Take advantage of the offer while you can!

Hydrated and Moisturized.

The fish salad at got me dreaming about fish all night! So savory 😋

I cringe every time I’m watching a movie and see people in crowded places without masks. Or when someone leaves the house without a mask. I’m like “YOUR MASK, your mask Carrie Mathison! Dammit”⠀⠀ ⠀
Then I realize it’s just a movie that was recorded over 4 years ago. Corona has really screwed up my mind. But we move regardless 😌 ⠀⠀⠀

Self care Sundays 💃🏾 ⠀
I tried out the bentonite clay from and my skin already feels rejuvenated. ⠀⠀⠀

I haven’t posted or shot for a while now and that has somehow made me read more than I used to. I got this book, mindset, by about two months ago and I am flipping page 131 now 😬
Mindset has completely changed my worldview. I had to unlearn, learn and relearn a lot of things.
The book mainly talks about two distinct mindsets: growth and fixed.
So far the four things that have stuck with me:
1. A company/someone that cannot self-correct cannot thrive.
2. People with a growth mindset value the process and have a desire to learn. Fixed mindsets desire to look smart and only believe in inborn talent (you can’t learn how to do something if you’re not gifted in it )
3. You can learn anything from scratch and be great in it. (Be an expert but have a beginner’s mind)
4. You have to work the hardest for the things you love most.
5. There is more joy in becoming than being, because you are constantly learning and improving yourself in the process.

We went for a staycation at over the weekend. The environment was serene and it had endless breathtaking views. They had a bonfire and barbecue set up for us. The rooftop was my chill spot. Perfect spot to unwind.
The place had a few shortcomings...there were times the taps ran dry. However they fixed it promptly.

The rates were kshs.18,000 for 2 nights and 3 days. The house can accommodate 8 people. So that was affordable 😊
