We marked the beginning of a 16-day journey where we commit ourselves to learning, reflecting, speaking iut and taking action on violence against women and girls-especially in digital spaces.

Virtual 16 Days of Activism 2025, themed *Unite to end Digital Violence*, is here with us...happening from 25th November to 10th December 2025, every evening from 8:30pm – 9:00pm. Violence against women and girls affects *1 in 3 women*. This year's campaign is a reminder that digital safety is central to gender equality.

Let’s come together and learn how to build safe and respectful digital spaces for all women and girls.

Vivian Sonye (on the mic), the Vice Chairperson of *She4She Teachers Network* is currently participating in a *Legal Empowerment Training of Trainers for Social Change Agents* in Nairobi. This training is hosted by *Amka Africa Justice Initiative in partnership with Deutsche Geellschaft fùr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). The training is focused on enhancing women's access to legal aid in relation to land rights, resources and representation.

We are super excited to spread our wings to the county with endless potential...look out for our amazing Homabay County Chapter Lead; we can't wait to introduce her!!!!!😊😊

🎉 2025 International Day of the Girl Child | Ngiya Girls National School 👩🏽‍🎓💜
On this International Day of the Girl Child, She4She had the privilege of joining the incredible students and staff of Ngiya Girls High School to celebrate the power, potential, and promise of girls everywhere. 🌍✨
From inspiring conversations to powerful moments of mentorship and empowerment, we stood in solidarity with the next generation of women leaders — reminding every girl that her voice matters, her dreams are valid, and her future is bright. 💪🏾🌸
Together, we reflected on this year’s theme and the importance of creating safe, inclusive spaces where girls can thrive, lead, and change the world.

Our very own Jenice Achieng is honoured to be a guest at Ngiya Girls this *International Day of the Girl Child representing She4She Teachers Network*, alongside Jael Ogelo Sonye.
This day is a powerful reminder of the brilliance, strength, and potential of every girl and the work we must continue doing to create spaces where they are seen, heard, and empowered.
Her message to every girl out there: 'you are not the *future*, you are the *now*'.
