Well, DIY according to me is something you should do out of love, a hobby maybe but rarely because you want to save on cash. DIY will require you not only to buy the required materials but also the small equipment you will use. You will realize buying materials for small projects might be more expensive than buying in bulk, add on the amount of time you will use on a first time project especially since you might even redo it and you realize it's an expensive venture.

However, for people like me who never give up, whose minds are always running DIYs are life. It keeps our brains engaged and not even drugs can give you the kind of high that comes with perfecting and finishing a project.
