Today, we celebrate the major strides that have been made in the sector of menstrual health globally. Each photo represents a moment filled with purpose, compassion, and determination.
Since our founding in 2014, we've distributed over 500K period products, and educated nearly 300K people with our SmartCycle ® methodology, breaking barriers, challenging taboos, and empowering women and girls worldwide. But our work is far from finished; in fact, we’re just getting started.
Menstrual Hygiene Day - Global
This last Wednesday, in partnership with Global Communities Ghana, Be Girl Ghana visited the School for the Deaf in Ghana's Upper West Region. The visit was a part of this year's Menstrual Hygiene Day celebrations and was conducted under the USAID - US Agency for International Development-funded Enhancing WASH Project, aimed at promoting healthy hygiene practices.
We engaged both boys and girls in conversations about periods, dispelling myths and advocated for creating a world where every person with a period can fully participate in society.
