At 38, I am finally mourning the adulthood I lost because I had to grow up too fast.I spent my twenties being a young mom, pouring my entire youth into survival and everyone else's needs.

I spent my thirties pouring my best years into someone who was never capable of holding my heart, only to watch it collapse into the slow, agonizing death of a failed marriage. That was followed by a corporate betrayal that proved loyalty is a currency they gladly take but never return. I checked every box, survived every storm, and still ended up looking in the mirror realizing I had completely abandoned myself just to keep everyone else intact.

It takes a shaterring level of honesty to look at the ruins of your life and admit that you deserve better. Rebuilding at this age isn’t a sign of failure—it is the ultimate act of self-rescue from a life that was slowly erasing you.

I am reclaiming my career, redefining my home, healing my relationships, and using travel to discover the woman I never got the chance to be.

If you have ever felt like you lived your life out of order, or that you traded your best years away just to survive, I see you. We aren't starting over from scratch. We are starting from raw, unfiltered experience. 🤎I’m done pretending everything is fine, and I want this page to be a safe place for the truth.

What is the heaviest thing you’ve had to walk away from to finally save yourself? Let's talk in the comments.

Dear Fellow Hiring Managers,

That "career gap" on her resume isn't a blank space. That "career gap" isn't an empty space. It’s a season of growth. When you see a gap, please remember:

Choosing her family didn’t delete her brainpower. Motherhood didn’t erase the sharp, brilliant, capable professional she was before she stepped away. Becoming a mom didnt took her years of expertise, her drive, or her talent.

If anything, it made her unstoppable. She didn’t lose her skills; she just gained a hundred more. Her skills didn't expire. She is still the asset you’re looking for—now with a level of resilience you can't teach.

She is re-entering the workforce with a heart full of ambition and a mind sharper than ever. Don't look past her. Welcome her back. ✨

She is ready to work, ready to lead, and ready to show you exactly what she is🤍

Call her. Give her the chance. Watch her get it done. 💼✨

To the recruiters and hiring managers out
there: when you see a resume with a parenthood
break, a 2to5 year "hole", don't throw it out. Call them
ASAP.

Moms operate on a level of "get it done" that
you cannot teach in a corporate seminar. They've been managing logistics, budgets, and conflicting schedules with zero margin for error. They value time and they handle fires without breaking a sweat because they've been doing it daily.

Let's start valuing the invisible skill sets.

When the LinkedIn expert says your banner needs to represent what you do, but you're Harry, a Software Engineer👨‍💻🛏😴

Saw this online and I had to share it. Some people really take that way too literally. 🤣
