Manicurist / pedicurist job description

- Provide the necessary services to clients such as Nail & Facial care, Wax and Massage (relaxing).
- Maintain a cheerful and warm disposition in dealing with customers and attend to the needs of customers
- Be updated with the latest trends in beauty services and technology.
- Maintain cleanliness, observe proper hygiene and proper grooming at all times
- Provide the necessary services to clients that require Manicure and/or Pedicure
- Treat nails by shaping, decorating, or augmenting, shape and smooth ends of nails, using scissors, files, or emery boards.
- Prepare nail cuticles with water and oil, using cuticle knives to push back cuticles and scissors or nippers to trim cuticles.
- Extend nails using powder, solvent and paper forms attached to tips of customers' fingers to support and shape artificial nails
- Provide guests with quality regular, French and glue manicures, pedicures, nail tips, wraps (silk and linen), acrylics, paraffin treatments, and dusting
- Massage and moisturize hands (for a manicure) and feet (for a pedicure)
- Provide nails and hand services to customers, such as basic manicures, artificial nails, gel nails, hand massages, hot-oil therapy, nail fills, nail repair, nail wraps and nail polishing.
- Specializes in nail artistry, including painting, airbrushing and polishing of fingernails and toenails. Perform nail grooming, including nail cleaning and cutting.
- Responsible for the collection and appointment and receiving clients
- Examine and evaluate the condition and appearance of nails to provide advice on proper nail care.
- Body Massage (relaxing)
- Inventory nail service supplies as needed & Promote nail services and product sales
- Excellent communication and technical skills, guest service and marketing skills.
Required Skills:
Manicure/Pedicure, Gellish, Shellac/ Gel, Facial treatment, Massage, Waxing/Threading/Tinting, Nail Art & Extensions, Eyelash Extensions, Acrylic nail application and tipping

Required education:
• High school or equivalent
• Certificate
• Manicurists and pedicurists should have complete an approved cosmetology or nail technician program
• 3 years’ salon working experience is required for this position
