Day 3 was the icing on the cake.
We began with a powerful session on mental health, led by our facilitator, Mr. Aaron Debah, who clearly explained the difference between mental health and mental problems. He encouraged us to break the silence surrounding mental challenges and work together to end stigmatization.
Following this, participants engaged in a series of games designed to teach practical skills for handling real-life situations. They also took home hope notes from friends and team members—messages of encouragement to carry forward. The day concluded with heartfelt testimonials from our participants, the presentation of certificates, and an atmosphere filled with gratitude and celebration. To our participants—thank you for believing in us and walking this journey with us. We love you all.

Day 2 began with a self-awareness test, because greatness starts with knowing who you are and what you stand for—and for us, that was essential for our participants.
The session flowed into reflection cards, which turned into what I like to call a therapeutic session. Stories were shared, walls were broken, and laughter echoed through the room.
This powerful atmosphere set the stage for our panel discussion on “The 21st Century Woman”—a woman who is bold and full of life. We are grateful to our two panelists, Ms. Shamella E. Mathews and Ms. Evangeline Sirleaf, for inspiring us to stand out, speak up, and lead with respect and humility.
Recognizing that many young women are or will become part of a family, we also held a session on “Woman and Family.” Mrs. Pellah Tamba educated our participants on their responsibilities as mothers and wives, the challenges they may face, and how to overcome them.
It was without a doubt, an incredible and transformative day.

On August 7th, we kicked off an exciting journey of empowering 10 young women through our program themed “Her Rise”—the start of something truly beautiful. Our two amazing facilitators didn’t just speak to the participants, they inspired the whole team with their relatable points and energy.
Miss Agnes Nagbe brought the room to life as she spoke on the importance of women being financially independent, then led a fun yet eye-opening budgeting exercise on separating needs from wants—a challenge many young women face today.
Next up, Mr. Faith Wyll took us into the world of content creation. He encouraged participants to use content to showcase their skills, reminding us that in today’s world, people need to see what you can do.
Participants were then placed into groups for a teamwork activity, where each group listed three challenges women face and suggested solutions to those challenges. Later presenting their ideas with passion and creativity. The sessions were filled with laughter and questions as participants eagerly shared their thoughts. It was an engaging, interactive day that set the tone for the remaining days!
