You know that Art Mobil trainings are closely related with Biomechanical muscle stimulation. And what do you have to know about it?

Biomechanical muscle stimulation is a method created by professor Nazarov.

In the seventies it was widely used by Soviet gymnasts and astronauts to fight osteopenia and muscle degeneration caused by microgravity. Then the system was picked up by sports elite to improve physical strength and skeleton coordination.

Today BMS is especially popular in sports and physiotherapeutic circles.

What is BMS-therapy?

It’s a physiotherapeutic treatment that subjects a patient to a vibration ranging from 18 to 50 Hz. It creates a reflex reaction from the muscles, consisting of uncontrolled contractions.

BMS is a mechanical influence over the muscles, which also helps to achieve special psychophysical effects. These effects are the base for muscle training, joint mobility and better coordination. Thus, they allow to master the hard moves and restore motor activity caused by traumas and musculoskeletal system diseases.

The Full Yoga Breath

* Starting position : stand or sit up straight;

* Drawing air through the nostrils, make a slow breath and fill the lower part of the lungs, which is achieved by the action of the diaphragm pushing gently on the abdomen;

* Fill the middle part of the lungs with air, pushing the false ribs, breastbone and whole chest. Anterior abdominal wall should be moved forward;
* Fill the top of your lungs with air, expanding the upper chest and pushing the upper six pairs of ribs;

* Retract inside the lower abdomen, that supports the lungs and allows to fill with air the highest part.

One phase flows into the other. The exhalation should last approximately twice as long as the inhalation. The pause in breathing arises naturally at the end of the exhalation phase and lasts until the impulse to inhale occurs of its own accord. The inhalation forms the active part of the breath. With it comes contraction of the respiratory muscles. The exhalation is the passive part of the breath, the phase of relaxation.

Why breathing is so important?

Pranayama - a conscious extension of breathing-in, retention of breath and breathing-out. With breathing-in man gets "primary energy", with retention of breath this energy absorbed by the human’s body. As you breathe out, there is a change of primary energy, which gave its potential to the human’s body and therefore isn’t needed.
It is believed that while breathing-out energy, which supports mental activity, is reduced, that deprives the power of reflections and emotion. When the lungs are empty, the person goes along with own primary energy rather than with emotions and reflections. Hence the practice of pranayama develops a steady mind, strong will and ability to correct eatimation.
Respiratory movements include horizontal expansion, vertical rise and expansion of the circumferential pulmonary, chest and ribs. This controlled breathing helps to concentrate the mind and gives the opportunity to achieve good health and longevity .
While there is breath in the body, there is life!

Breathing meditation is a simple and easy form of meditation that will help you in achieving a calm and relaxed state of mind.

- You can perform this meditation by sitting, standing or by lying down.
- Breathing meditation is done by focusing on the movement of air throughout the body.
- You can also concentrate on a mental image of an object along with focusing on your breathing.
- Your eyes can be kept either in a closed or an open position.

Daily practice of this meditation will help you in normalizing your breathing pattern, thus reducing the conditions of blood pressure, anxiety and stress. It is found that early morning and the time just before you go to bed are the ideal hours when you can practice meditation.

Diaphragm breathing: why do we need it?

Breathing is the life foundation, for sure physical well-being and intellectual development depends on it. You may learn to manage the process of respiration, which helps you to rejuvenate and strengthen your body, get rid of many problems and prolong life.

Diaphragm breathing or abdominal breathing represents an effective breath type in which lung stretching comes from below rather than from body side as in the thoracic breathing and fresh air is spreading equally in the lung, blood oxygen level is increasing. Oxygen diffuses into the blood vessels, and attaches to the red blood cell, which transports the chemical to cells throughout the body. Cells use oxygen to create a molecule called ATP, which is energy needed for metabolism and other cellular processes.

Diaphragm is the main respiratory muscles. It separates the chest and abdominal cavities, is dome-shaped, acting as a piston pump. Diaphragm compresses and massage hepar, spleen, intestinal canal and other organs. Therefore the diaphragm eliminates stagnation, facilitates output of bilis into the small intestine, improves blood circulation. Squeezing the blood and lymph vessels, the diaphragm empties the venous system and pushes up the blood and lymph in the chest. Consequently, the diaphragm acts as a second venous heart.
