𝙈𝙞𝙠𝙖𝙤 𝙐𝙨𝙪𝙞 was a renowned 𝙏𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙞 𝘽𝙪𝙙𝙙𝙝𝙞𝙨𝙩 and the founder of what we know today as “𝙍𝙚𝙞𝙠𝙞”.

Even if Reiki has its history before Usui, he still remains the most important figure and is considered the father of Reiki as we know it today.

But if there were 3 things to remember about Mikao Usui, I believe these are the ones:

1️⃣ He is the father of Reiki;
2️⃣ Usui Sensei initiated 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐣𝐢𝐫𝐨 𝐇𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢, who in turn trained Hawayo Takata who eventually brought Reiki to the West;
3️⃣The most important of them all: Mikao Usui dedicated his life to spirituality and found Reiki because of his near-death experience. So did Mrs. Takata. This shows that he was no that different from us. The moral of the story is that 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱𝗻’𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳, with or without Reiki.
