Tbh, this is the part of being a MUA that not many people see behind the scenes. We spend hours practicing, improving our techniques, trying different concepts, and pushing ourselves to become better each time ♥️
Lately I’ve been preparing for my SKM 3 exam too, because for me, being a makeup artist is not only about creating pretty looks, it’s also about learning, growing, and acknowledging our skills professionally through certifications like SKM.
Never stop learning, always improving. One step at a time 🫶🏻.
A day in my life as a fulltime HMUA ✨
Behind every makeup session, there’s always a student version of me that never stops learning. From joining classes in KL, practicing new techniques, until pushing myself out from my comfort zone — all of it is part of my journey to deliver the best possible experience and results for every client who trusts me with their special moments ♥️🫶🏻.
I may not be the most naturally creative person, but passion for artistry is what keeps driving me forward. Because of that passion, I slowly learn to explore different styles, improve my skills, and grow into the artist I want to become.
For me, being a HMUA is not just about doing makeup & hair, but also about constantly learning so one day I can share knowledge and guide others better too ✨
