LET ME RE-INTRODUCE MYSELF

My name is Chiamaka Florence Rachel NWABUAKU Nwosu an indigene of Nnewi, Anambra State. I’m a graduate of Accounting Madonna University (2011).

I’m a wife, mother of 2 beautiful kids and a serial entrepreneur.

My journey into the beauty world started in my university days when I was a hairstylist and also in thrift wears.

As a typical Nwanyi Nnewi known for being industrious and ambitious I sustained myself in school with the proceeds of my small business so as to reduce the burden from my mum - a widow who single-handedly raised 5 kids.

During my national service year in Abuja, I ran my ICAN and NIM, after which I registered at makeup academy and got certified as a professional makeup artist.

I practiced my makeup artistry in Abuja and then moved to Nnewi to open my Makeup Studio and hair salon.

I got married 2016, and relocated to Aba and continued with my makeup artistry. The year 2018 I had my first child and just when I was about resuming after my Omugwo my studio got burgled and that was when I had to restrategize.

As a nursing mom I thought of a business I could do from the comfort of my home and that was how I traveled for a Wigmaking course and never regretted that decision.

With the experience I garnered through out Wigmaking journey the desire to have a Wig Academy and Wigtools store burned and my passion fueled it. My mom who is a teacher encouraged me.

For 3years I prayed for it and spoke it into existence.

Last year December, I reached out to with the idea of opening the Wig academy or to join the list of japarians as I had already started working towards it. She encouraged to follow my dream. It is ok to have a dream and when you do, DREAM BIG.

I would like to change the narrative of WIGMAKERS in Aba, create a community of WIGMAKERS through innovation and collaboration, and empower the wig enthusiasts in doing it right.
