Hillzcare pharmacy is my dream come to life. Leaving Lagos where I was working and getting paid comfortably to join my husband meant resignation but with hopes of getting hired at a new place down in abakaliki. Reality stuck when I stayed at home for more than 6months and being someone who is used to her own money was a big problem, Don't get me wrong, babes was doing his best but I needed my own cash.
This bore the idea and later a dream but the huge capital needed was not available as we just got married, had a baby with so many projects at hand. Babes insisted we go ahead and so we scraped together all we had and opened it. Business was moving fine as I was managing it hoping to get a system and software that will help me keep the business on track.
Till I gave birth 5months after opening, I hired someone to help me run the pharmacy but babe's mind was not at rest seeing as we had nothing in place to track all the goods except manually. And truth to his fears, upon resumption from maternity leave, my staff was stealing from me, not just taking money but drugs as well. I sacked her and have commenced managing it alone but with 2kids, its been difficult.
