Rainy season is here = Mosquitoes are plenty.

Protect your family in 3 steps:

5 Daily Habits That Help Lower BP Naturally đź’™
High blood pressure is called the “silent killer” because you often won’t feel it. The good news? Small daily habits add up.

Here are 5 things you can start today, as explained by Pure Health: 🔊 Tap to listen

1. Eat Smart
Add more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Think “DASH diet” - less processed food, more potassium from bananas, spinach, beans.

2. Move Your Body
30 minutes of brisk walking, 5 days a week. Exercise helps your heart pump better with less effort.

3. Cut Down Salt
Aim for less than 1 teaspoon of salt per day. Check labels - bread, seasoning cubes, and canned foods hide a lot of sodium.

4. Manage Stress
Chronic stress spikes BP. Try 5 minutes of deep breathing, prayer, or a short walk when you feel overwhelmed.

5. Prioritize Sleep
7-8 hours of quality sleep helps regulate BP. Poor sleep = higher stress hormones.

Your turn: Which 1 habit will you start with this week? Comment 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 below 👇

Know your numbers. Check your BP regularly. Tag someone who needs to see this.

🌍 World Nutrition Day – May 28

Good health doesn’t start in the pharmacy. It starts on your plate.

What is good nutrition?
It’s giving your body the right mix of food to fuel energy, protect your heart, and keep your immune system strong. Not just “less junk,” but more of what actually helps you thrive.

3 simple nutrition habits that make a real difference:

1. Eat more whole foods
Fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, nuts. They give you fiber, vitamins, and minerals without the overload of salt, sugar, and unhealthy fats.

2. Watch the salt
Too much sodium pushes your blood pressure up. Most of it comes from packaged and processed foods, not the pinch you add at home.

3. Stay hydrated
Water helps your body absorb nutrients and keeps your heart from working harder than it needs to. If you’re thirsty, you’re already behind.

Why it matters:
Poor nutrition is behind most cases of high blood pressure, diabetes, and heart disease. But the good news? Small changes add up fast. Even swapping one sugary drink for water or adding veggies to one meal a day moves the needle.

Today’s challenge:
👉 Pick one thing to improve in your next meal.
Drop it in the comments — I’ll go first: “Adding a side salad to lunch.”

Follow for more simple health tips you can actually use.
