From radio listener to law student: How Angela Foundation transformed the life of a blind youth in Delta State

This story showcases the work of Angela Foundation, which focuses on providing education to young people with disabilities. One of the beneficiaries was a stay-at-home radio listener who had given up the chance to acquire education due to the complete absence of a special centre for the blind in his neighbourhood and the lack of financial support to seek learning opportunities elsewhere.

Being an avid radio listener—his only source of hope and joy—Monday Ogubelo finally got a chance to connect with the foundation through a radio programme created by the founder to inspire young people with special needs. Seizing the opportunity, Monday would later discover that he was rewriting his story with the help of the foundation.

The story describes Monday's journey to the present day, where he is now a second-year Law student at the University of Benin.
