Adhoc Staff Members of the Centre for Clinical Care and Clinical Research Nigeria (CCCRN) at Edo State University Teaching Hospital (EDSUTH), Auchi, today joined in celebrating the Ag. Chief Medical Director on the occasion of his one year anniversary in office.

During the visit, the staff members presented a gift to the Ag. CMD as a mark of appreciation and recognition for his impactful leadership, support, and commitment towards creating a conducive working environment for staff and partners within the hospital community.

The team commended the Ag. CMD for his dedication to the advancement of healthcare services and the visible progress recorded in the hospital within the past one year. They also expressed gratitude for the cordial relationship and support extended to the CCCRN team since the commencement of their activities in the hospital.

In his response, the Ag. CMD appreciated the thoughtful gesture and thanked the adhoc staff members for their commitment, hard work, and contributions towards quality healthcare service delivery. He encouraged them to remain dedicated and continue supporting the vision and growth of the institution.

The Laboratory Service Department of Edo State University Teaching Hospital (EDSUTH), Auchi, today paid a courtesy and appreciation visit to the Ag. Chief Medical Director to commemorate his one year in office.

The delegation, led by the Head of Laboratory Services, Dr. Mrs. E. Umeche presented an appreciation and recognition award to the Ag. CMD in acknowledgement of his visionary leadership, commitment to excellence, and remarkable contributions towards the growth and transformation of the hospital within the past one year.

As part of the celebration, the department also presented an anniversary cake to mark the memorable occasion, while expressing profound gratitude for the support, encouragement, and enabling environment provided to the Laboratory Services Department under his administration.

The accreditation confirms that the Hospital meets the prescribed standards for the training of Radiography Interns and reinforces our reputation as a centre dedicated to quality healthcare delivery, sound clinical practice, and structured academic advancement.

DONATION OF 10KW SOLAR POWER SYSTEM TO EDO STATE UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITAL, AUCHI BY HON. DEKERI SUNDAY ANAMERO AKA DANCO

We are pleased to announce the successful installation and official handover of a 10-kilowatt solar power system donated to Edo State University Teaching Hospital, Auchi, by Hon. Dekeri Sunday Anamero (Danco). The facility was formally handed over to Management on Tuesday, 13th January, 2026.

The solar power system has been strategically installed at the new Obstetrics & Gynaecology building which houses the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU), delivery room, labour ward, antenatal and postnatal wards, critical service areas that operate continuously and provide essential services for maternal and newborn care. Reliable power supply in this unit is fundamental for safe deliveries, emergency interventions, and the effective operation of life-saving medical equipment.

Speaking on the donation, the Ag. Chief Medical Director, Dr. Tijani Oseni stated, “This intervention is both timely and impactful. It significantly strengthens our capacity to deliver safe and uninterrupted maternal healthcare and reflects the value of meaningful partnerships in advancing patient outcomes.”

The wheelchairs were formally received today by the Acting Chief Medical Director, Dr. Tijani Oseni, who was accompanied by other members of the Hospital Management Team.
