COMMUNICABLE DISEASE
Any illness that can spread from one person to another, or from animals/insects to people.

HOW IT WORKS
There are germs such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, or parasites that move from an infected person, animal, or place into a healthy person.

COMMON EXAMPLES IN NIGERIA

- Typhoid fever: From dirty food/water
- Tuberculosis (TB): From coughing/sneezing
- Cholera: From contaminated water
- HIV/AIDS: From blood, s*x, mother-to-child
- Measles: From air droplets, very contagious
-Lassa fever: From rats or infected people

They're numerous cases of communicable disease in Nigeria, Research has shown that 1-4 hospital visits is as a result of communicable disease
