R**E; This is unlawful s*xual activity, most often involving s*xual in*******se, against the will of the victim through force or the threat of force or with an individual who is incapable of giving legal consent because of minor status, mental illness, mental deficiency, intoxication, unconsciousness, or deception. In many jurisdictions, the crime of r**e has been subsumed under that of s*xual assault. In 2012 the U.S. Department of Justice adopted a new definition of r**e, to be used in the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reporting program, that better reflected state criminal codes and the experiences of r**e victims. By that definition, r**e is “the pe*******on, no matter how slight, of the va**na or a**s with any body part or object, or oral pe*******on by a s*x organ of another person, without the consent of the victim.” Sexual assault is never okay. Sadly, years went by with a society that would rather brush things under the rug than face these wrongdoings head-on. Without support, even powerful women fell to the silence that follows a s*xual assault.The world today is changing, but unfortunately, R**e is still happening every single day. People are beginning to talk about it more but it is still not reaching a point where there is a solution.Lets all come together to fight against r**e.
