Yes, you can mix ginger and cinnamon for a powerful natural hair treatment especially for scalp stimulation, dandruff control, and hair growth.

Both are rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, making them an amazing combo for your natural hair.

Ginger boosts blood flow to scalp, reduces shedding, soothes itchy scalp, while Cinnamon stimulates hair follicles, helps with hair thickness, has antifungal properties.

Together, they work to:
✅ Increase blood circulation to hair roots
✅ Soothe and detox the scalp
✅ Reduce dandruff and buildup
✅ Promote stronger, healthier strands

🔥 Caution:

Cinnamon can be intense, so always patch test before full application.

Avoid getting it into your eyes or using too much at once as well.

I promised to give a step-by-step guide for making and using a Ginger + Cinnamon + Clove Scalp Rinse, a natural, oil-free treatment to stimulate hair growth, improve scalp health, and refresh your natural hair journey.

I made mine today and applied it before washing my hair. I made a video too, and I'd post it later.
So, here we go.

GINGER + CINNAMON + CLOVE SCALP RINSE
A natural recipe by Naomi Hair Naturals
Purpose is to boost growth, fight dandruff and refresh your scalp circulation.

INGREDIENTS
▫️Fresh Ginger (1 medium-sized k**b)

▫️Cinnamon sticks (2) or 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder

▫️Cloves (1 tablespoon)

▫️2–3 cups of water

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Prepare the ingredients
▫️Peel and slice your ginger into thin pieces.
▫️Measure out your cloves.
▫️If using cinnamon sticks, break them a bit for stronger infusion.

2. Boil
▫️In a clean pot, pour 2–3 cups of water.
▫️Add the ginger, cinnamon, and cloves.
▫️Boil on medium heat for 15–20 minutes, until the water turns a rich amber color and the aroma fills your kitchen.

3. Cool & strain
▫️Turn off the heat and allow it to cool completely.
▫️Strain the mixture into a clean bowl to remove all solids.

4. Bottle it
▫️Pour into a clean spray bottle or applicator bottle.

HOW TO USE
▫️Use on clean scalp: After washing or on non-wash days.
▫️Section your hair and spray the rinse directly onto your scalp.
▫️Massage gently with your fingertips for 3–5 minutes.
▫️No need to rinse out, unless you prefer to.
▫️Use 2–3 times a week depending on your scalp needs.

NOTE
▫️Always do a patch test first.
▫️Avoid open cuts or highly sensitive skin.
▫️Not suitable for people allergic to any of the ingredients.
▫️You can also use it as a final rinse on wash day!

A quick reminder for your front hair:

🍁Be gentle with your hair.

🍁Avoid over-manipulating or pulling on your front hair as this can cause breakage and stunt growth.

🍁Be gentle when detangling, styling, or even washing your hair.

🍁Moisturize.
Keeping your front hair moisturized is crucial for healthy growth.

🍁Use a leave-in conditioner or hair oil to keep your hair hydrated.

I love you❤️

How often should you moisturize your natural hair?

NHN: It depends on your hair’s needs, not a fixed rule.
But here's a guide👇

🔹 Daily — if your hair:

📌Feels dry by the next morning
📌Is high porosity (moisture escapes fast)
📌Is exposed to sun, heat, or harm often
📌You're in harmattan or cold climates

To do: Use a lightweight water-based spray or mist.

🔹 Every 2–3 Days — if your hair:

📌Holds moisture decently but needs a top-up
📌You use protective styles (e.g. twists, wigs, cornrows)
📌You live in moderate climates

To do: Apply water first, then seal with oil or butter.

🔹 Weekly — if your hair:

📌Is in low-manipulation styles like braids or flat twists
📌Feels soft and hydrated most of the time
📌You deep condition regularly

To do: Focus more on deep conditioning + LOC/LCO method.

🚨 Don’t wait until it’s dry, brittle, and screaming for help.

Check your hair daily → If it feels dry or looks dull, moisturize.

✅ Water = moisture
✅ Oil = sealant (not moisture itself!)
✅ Butter = heavy sealant (great for thicker strands)

What’s your moisturizing routine like? Daily, weekly… or as the Spirit leads? 😂

Don't forget to like, comment and share. There's someone on your timeline that needs to see this.

I've posted this before and I will post it again.

Sleep and stress management can have a significant impact on your hair health.

When you don't get enough sleep or experience chronic stress, your body produces more cortisol, a stress hormone that can lead to hair loss, thinning, and breakage.

Lack of sleep can also reduce blood flow to the scalp, which can hinder the growth and strength of your hair.

On the other hand, when you prioritize sleep and stress management, you can reduce cortisol levels, increase blood flow to the scalp, and promote the growth and health of your hair.

Additionally, stress and lack of sleep can also cause scalp inflammation and dandruff, which can further damage your hair.

By managing your stress levels and getting enough sleep, you can promote a healthy scalp and prevent common hair problems.

In summary, getting enough sleep and managing stress levels is essential for maintaining healthy hair.

By prioritizing these aspects of your health, you can reduce hair loss, promote growth and strength, and prevent scalp problems that can damage your hair.

Try dey get enough sleep. E get why.

I almost gave up because I was using too much.
My shelf was full but my results were empty.
Too many products. Too many promises.
And none of them gave me peace.

But now?
I’ve returned to simplicity.
Two or three products I trust.
A routine that gives my hair room to breathe.
And most of all, clarity.

Does the story above sound familiar? Is that you using too many products and getting no results on your hair?

Why not focus on one that works best for your hair.

Less clutter, more care.
