Tangles are one of the challenges most naturals expecially curlys face irrespective of length of hair. I really won't want to go back on causes of hair tangles (see previous post).

Hair tangles are just part of natural hair and there isn't no magic to get rid of that, but this could be minimised and work through to detangle. Some step to getting rid of tangles in your hair include;

📎 USE OF HAIR MASK
Use hair mask at least once a week for a minimum of 30min. Hair Masks are quick, efficient and potent treatment to adding moisture and nutrients to the hair while leaving the hair silky, shiny, healthy and less Tangle prone.

📎 USE A CONDITIONER OFTEN
Conditioning your hair is an important step to tacking tangles and good hair routine. Apply conditioner from tip of hair towards the scalp, leave for 5minutes, the comb.

📎 USE A CONDITIONING SHAMPOO OR A PRE-POO
Certain individual have hair that easily Tangles and difficult to manage (my daughter is an example), using a pre-poo will help make washing easy and reduce tangles (depending on how you massage the hair).

📎 USE YOUR FINGERS FIRST.
Use your fingers to separate your hair into sections before using a comb on it. This will certain help reduce breakage for most damage or brittle hair.

📎 USE A WIDE TOOTH COMB
Wide tooth combs help remove tangles more efficiently while protecting your hair from undue breakage. Start the combing from the tip of the knot and carefully work your way up till a detangling is completed.

Seems like that's all I crave this afternoon, but have you ever wondered that that orange peel you dispose can impact your hair positively this winter (harmattan) period.

The peels of orange like the juice is rich in vitamin C, minerals and other vitamins that works wonder for your hair.

Benefit include
🍊 Acts as a great hair conditioner:
rich in vitamin E and antioxidants that conditions and strengthen the hair.

🍊 Help fight dandruff:
Using it as mask often times work on those dandruff , relieves itchy scalp and not just that can add extra shine and bounce to your hair due to the vitamin C content.

🍊 Promote healthy hair growth:
The antioxidants present in either the juice or peel help fight off free radicals that damage the hair. Also contains vitamin B12 and other vitamins that help repair damaged hair follicle and Strenghten hair root.

Without saying much, oranges 🍊 in whole are rich in nutrients that often time we take for granted.

You can use it by either adding the peels to your oil and use it on your hair. Leave for 30min to 1hour.

As conditioner add to honey or vegetable glycerine and apply to hair and cover to allow heat for 20min, the rinse.
