At AfriZiny Creations, our approach to protective styling derives from personal challenges that we have faced for a long time now, and as a result, are committing to provide Handmade Crochet Hair Extensions for everyday people.

The short answer is, no.
The long answer? We'll explain in detail.
Regardless of how you choose to wear your hair, whether in its natural state or in a protective style (hair extensions inclusive), your hair always grows.
If this was not the case, a good number of men wouldn't be needing barbers. Right?
However, certain factors like genetics, auto-immune diseases, stress levels, drugs/medications, age, poor grooming habits can either impede hair growth, or permanently cause hair to stop growing.
Hair extensions on the other hand, are great for hair length retention. In simpler terms, they just help to retain and preserve hair that already exists. This is why choosing the right extensions, a good stylist, and, a functional maintenance routine should be prioritised when making hair related decisions.
So the next time your stylist tries to braid your hair really tight, with claims that it would make your hair grow, please refuse. If they insist, find a new stylist. Your hair will thank you.
