I came back from work very exhausted to hear the “annoying” beeping sound of prepaid meter coming from my flat.

This sound makes me feel somehow. In my head, I am like, why are you announcing to the whole neighborhood that I don’t have money to buy enough electricity units.

The prepaid meter beeps to inform the user that he/she is running low on electricity unit and it also indicates that the electricity unit is below 15/20 unit(I am not sure of the exact unit).

Whenever my prepaid meter beeps like that, no matter how broke I am, I will hurriedly get #500/ #1000.00 electricity unit.

I have not bothered to research online on how to put off that beeping sound. I decided to do my research today and surf the internet and voila! I stumbled on the piece of information.

To stop hearing the beeping noise from the prepaid meter when your electricity unit is low, dial 045 and the red button on your prepaid meter. In the next 2-3 seconds, the beeping noise will stop.

I make use of MOJEC prepaid meter and it worked for me!
