ANY HIDDEN WICKEDNESS IN YOU? (II)
MEMORISE
For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light (Luke 8:17).
READ:
1 Kings 2:1-9
[1]. Now the days of David drew near that he should die, and he charged Solomon his son, saying:
[2]. “I go the way of all the earth; be strong, therefore, and prove yourself a man.
[3]. And keep the charge of the Lord your God: to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His judgments, and His testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn;
[4]. that the Lord may fulfill His word which He spoke concerning me, saying, ‘If your sons take heed to their way, to walk before Me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul,’ He said, ‘you shall not lack a man on the throne of Israel.’
[5]. “Moreover you know also what Joab the son of Zeruiah did to me, and what he did to the two commanders of the armies of Israel, to Abner the son of Ner and Amasa the son of Jether, whom he killed. And he shed the blood of war in peacetime, and put the blood of war on his belt that was around his waist, and on his sandals that were on his feet.
[6]. Therefore do according to your wisdom, and do not let his gray hair go down to the grave in peace.
[7]. “But show kindness to the sons of Barzillai the Gileadite, and let them be among those who eat at your table, for so they came to me when I fled from Absalom your brother.
[8]. “And see, you have with you Shimei the son of Gera, a Benjamite from Bahurim, who cursed me with a malicious curse in the day when I went to Mahanaim. But he came down to meet me at the Jordan, and I swore to him by the Lord, saying, ‘I will not put you to death with the sword.’
[9]. Now therefore, do not hold him guiltless, for you are a wise man and know what you ought to do to him; but bring his gray hair down to the grave with blood.”
EXPOSITION
Remember that as King David's life drew to a close, he instructed Solomon on various matters, including dealing with Joab and Shimei's past grievous acts. This directive reveals another essential truth about hidden wickedness: it doesn't remain concealed forever. Though Joab and Shimei's actions seemed overlooked for a time. David reminded Solomon to address these unresolved issues. Moses assured the people, _But if you do not do so, then take note, you have sinned against the LORD; and be sure your sin will find you out_ (Num. 32:23).
There is the need to confront hidden sins and wickedness within ourselves. Often, we may try to hide our wrongdoings thinking they will never be discovered. However, God's Word assures us that hidden things will eventually be revealed (Lk. 8:17; 1 Cor. 4:5).
On the positive side, just as David advised Solomon to bring justice and peace to the kingdom, we must also confront and confess our hidden sins to God, for His forgiveness and healing. Are there hidden sins you haven't confessed? Bring everything into the light, seek God's mercy, and walk in His righteousness, before it is too late (Prov. 28:13).
PRAYER POINTS
1. Lord, help me to recognise and confess any hidden wickedness in my life.
2. Father, grant me the strength to walk in Your light.
3. Lord, help our leaders to be diligent in rooting out hidden wickedness and living transparently before You.
SUGGESTED HYMN FOR TODAY:
CAC GHB: 244
S M
1. Not all the blood of beasts,
On Jewish altars slain,
Could give the guilty conscience peace,
Or wash away the stain.
2. But Christ the heavenly Lamb,
Takes all our sins away
A sacrifice of noble name
And richer blood than they.
3. My faith would lay her hand
On that dear head of Thine,
While like a penitent I stand,
And there confess my sin
4. My soul looks back to see
The burdens Thou didst bear,
When hanging on the cursed tree,
And knows her guilt was there.
5. Believing, we rejoice
To see the curse remove:
We bless the Lamb with cheerful voice
And sing His bleeding love!
Amen.

ARE YOUR HANDS CLEAN? (I)
MEMORISE
But God said to me, ‘You shall not build a house for My name, because you have been a man of war and have shed blood.’ (1 Chronicles 28:3).
READ
1 Chronicles 28:1-8
[1]. Now David assembled at Jerusalem all the leaders of Israel: the officers of the tribes and the captains of the divisions who served the king, the captains over thousands and captains over hundreds, and the stewards over all the substance and possessions of the king and of his sons, with the officials, the valiant men, and all the mighty men of valor.
[2]. Then King David rose to his feet and said, “Hear me, my brethren and my people: I had it in my heart to build a house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and for the footstool of our God, and had made preparations to build it.
[3]. But God said to me, ‘You shall not build a house for My name, because you have been a man of war and have shed blood.’
[4]. However the Lord God of Israel chose me above all the house of my father to be king over Israel forever, for He has chosen Judah to be the ruler. And of the house of Judah, the house of my father, and among the sons of my father, He was pleased with me to make me king over all Israel.
[5]. And of all my sons (for the Lord has given me many sons) He has chosen my son Solomon to sit on the throne of the kingdom of the Lord over Israel.
[6]. Now He said to me, ‘It is your son Solomon who shall build My house and My courts; for I have chosen him to be My son, and I will be his Father.
[7]. Moreover I will establish his kingdom forever, if he is steadfast to observe My commandments and My judgments, as it is this day.’
[8]. Now therefore, in the sight of all Israel, the assembly of the Lord, and in the hearing of our God, be careful to seek out all the commandments of the Lord your God, that you may possess this good land, and leave it as an inheritance for your children after you forever.
EXPOSITION
Purity of hands and heart are requirements to come before the Lord (Psa. 24:4). Unlike the heart, the hand is the outer part of the body that can be seen, felt and touched. God refused King David's request to build a house for Him because, his hands were defiled. Like David, have you not shed blood, including the innocent ones (2 Sam. 417; 1 Chro. 28:3). God specifically told David, despite the passionate desire of his heart to build a temple for the LORD, that he wouldn't be the one to do that (1 Chro. 17:4). While relating this to the people, David attributed this divine refusal to the fact that he had shed blood (1 Chro. 28:3)
By implication, despite that he was a man after the LORD'S heart, his hands had been terribly stained with blood. This reminds us of the terrible saga of his encounter with Bathsheba and Uriah (2 Sam. 11:1ff). Be brutally wasted Uriah in the battlefront. He thought he could cover up but nemesis caught up with him. What are those things you are doing now and you think you are getting away with them? You won't get away with them because your hands are stained (Prov. 16: 5)
Do you still remember the number of abortions you had in the past? How about those you wounded with words and rebellion? Have you settled them with God and the people? Are you sure blood stains aren't still on your hands? They can debar you from getting to your most desired destiny. Shun every act of violence as today marks International Day of Non-Violence, World Financial Planning Day, Random Acts of Poetry Day & World Habitat Day. Repent and do restitution, now!
PRAYER POINTS
1. Lord Jesus, I thank You for Your finished work of redemption over me.
2. Repent of whatever can be termed as blood stains on your hands and ask for God's forgiveness.
3. Pray for CAC Hanson Region, our father in the Lord, the Regional Superintendent, and other officers at the various levels as led by the Spirit of God.
SUGGESTED HYMN FOR TODAY
CAC GHB: 502
1. Have you been to Jesus for the cleans ing power?
Are you wash'd in the blood of the Lamb?
Are you fully trusting in His grace this hour?
Chorus:
Are you wash'd in the blood of the Lamb?
Are you wash'd in the blood –
In the soul-cleansing blood of the Lamb?
Are your garments spotless?
Are they? white as snow?
Are you wash'd in the blood of the Lamb?
2. Are you walking daily by the Saviour's side?
Are you wash'd in the blood of the Lamb?
Do you rest each moment in the Crucified?
Are you wash'd in the blood of the Lamb?
3. When the Bridegroom cometh will your robes be white?
Pure and white in the blood of the Lamb?
Will your soul be ready for the mansions bright,
And be washed in the blood of the Lamb?
4. Lay aside the garments that are stained with sin.
And be washed in the blood of the Lamb!
There's a fountain flowing for the soul unclean –
Oh, be washed in the blood of the Lamb!
Amen.

*MEMORISE:*
The LORD is far from the wicked. But He hears the prayer of the righteous *(Proverbs 15:29).*
*READ: Isaiah 3:10,11*
10. "Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
11. Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him, for the reward of his hands shall be given him.
*EXPOSITION*
The true essence of the word "wicked" in the Bible is to be morally flawed and engaged in sinful actions. When people come across the term wickedness, their mind often conjure images of witches, wizards, and other malevolent spirits dwelling in the realm of darkness. However, it is important to note that wickedness is not solely confined to those who serve as agents of the devil. This unfortunate behaviour can also be observed among the children of God within the Church and Christian households.
Being wicked means living a life that goes against moral values/principles and the establishment of healthy relationships with others (Psa. 28:3: Prov. 17:23). A morally depraved individual is classified as wicked. Moreover, one can be deemed wicked if he/she causes harm to other people's lives, well-being, and financial stability. The Bible says, _The wicked borrows and does not repay, but the righteous shows mercy and give_ (Psa. 37:21). The wicked also include those who seek to bring others down or terminate their lives (Psa 37:12-15, 32- 33), people who abuse their spouses (1 Pet. 3:1-7), and financially capable children who refuse to support their parents. The idea of wickedness is complex and includes many behaviours that are ungodly, demonic, immoral and harmful to others. None must be found in your life, if you are truly a Christian (cf. 1 Cor. 5:1).
*PRAYER POINTS*
1. I reject the spirit of wickedness in my thoughts, words and actions, in the name of Jesus.
2. Lord, help me through Your Spirit to consistently do things that bring You pleasure.
3. Pray for the Authority of Christ Apostolic Church, our Fathers the President, General Superintendent, General Evangelist, General Secretary, Finance by Director and Director of Missions as directed God's Spirit.
*SUGGESTED HYMN FOR TODAY: CAC GHB 740*
1. O Saviour, may we never rest
Till Thou art formed within,
Till Thou hast calmed our troubl'd breast.
And crush'd the pow'r of sin.
2. O may we gaze upon Thy Cross,
Until the wondrous sight
Makes earthly treasures seems but dross,
And earthly sorrows light.
3. Until releas'd from carnal ties,
Our spirit upward springs,
And sees true peace above the skies,
True joy in heav'nly things.
4. There as we gaze, may we become
United, Lord, to Thee,
And in a fairer, happier home,
Thy perfect beauty see.
Amen.

THE BEST ASSET FOR YOUTHS
MEMORISE
The glory of young men is their strength, and the splendor of old men is their grey hair (Proverbs 20:29).
READ
Judges 6:12-14
[12]. And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him, and said to him, “The Lord is with you, you mighty man of valor!”
[13]. Gideon said to Him, “O my lord, if the Lord is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are all His miracles which our fathers told us about, saying, ‘Did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt?’ But now the Lord has forsaken us and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.”
[14]. Then the Lord turned to him and said, “Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you?”
EXPOSITION
Youth is a critical time of transition from childhood to adulthood. It is when individuals are no longer children but still lack experience as adults. An asset is something you own, or control that is expected to bring future benefits. Assets can generate cash flow, reduce expenses, or improve sales. In simple terms, assets put money in your pocket, while liabilities take money out. The main advantage of youth is physical strength and mental clarity. It is the time when you can fully utilise your strength. How you live your life during your youth will determine your future in old age. This is the period when you can use your physical energy to carry the burdens that will lead you to a successful future. Youth is a time when you must take on certain responsibilities. These include gaining knowledge and skills through formal education, learning a trade or vocation, and developing your natural talents to their fullest potential. If you neglect these responsibilities while you are young, you are likely to be unhappy in your later years. Note that strength is not just about physical power or muscle; it also refers to the abilities and potential that God has given you to fulfil your purpose in life (cf. Jud. 6:12-14). These potentials are like dormant abilities, untapped strengths, and hidden talents. Take the time now, while you are young, to discover and maximise your potential so that your future will be truly bright.
PRAYER POINTS
1. Father, open my understanding to diligently use my youthful grace.
2. Father, help me to know the right things to do and to do them at the right times.
3. Pray for the CAC Department of Christian Education, the Director and the staff as led by the Spirit of God.
SUGGESTED HYMN FOR TODAY
CAC GHB: 521
1. Little drops of water,
Little grains of sand,
Make the mighty ocean
And the bounteous land.
2. And the little moments,
Humble though they be,
Make they mighty ages
Of eternity
3. Little deeds of kindness
Little words of love,
Make our earth an Eden
Like the heav'n above.
4. So our little errors
Lead the soul astray
From the paths of virtue
Into sin to stray.
5. Little seeds of mercy
Sown by youthful hands
Grow to bless the nations
Far in heathen lands.
6. Little ones in glory
Swell the angels' song;
Make us meet, dear Saviour,
For their holy throng.
Amen.

LIFE IS A PRIVILEGE
MEMORISE
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going (Ecclesiastes 9:10).
READ
Ecclesiastes 9:3-10
[3]. This is an evil in all that is done under the sun: that one thing happens to all. Truly the hearts of the sons of men are full of evil; madness is in their hearts while they live, and after that they go to the dead.
[4]. But for him who is joined to all the living there is hope, for a living dog is better than a dead lion.
[5]. For the living know that they will die; but the dead know nothing, and they have no more reward, for the memory of them is forgotten.
[6]. Also their love, their hatred, and their envy have now perished; nevermore will they have a share in anything done under the sun.
[7]. Go, eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart; for God has already accepted your works.
[8]. Let your garments always be white, and let your head lack no oil.
[9]. Live joyfully with the wife whom you love all the days of your vain life which He has given you under the sun, all your days of vanity; for that is your portion in life, and in the labor which you perform under the sun.
[10]. Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.
EXPOSITION
God is the Giver of life. He owns, and is in charge of it. He takes it at will and man dies (Eccl. 12:7). So, being alive is indeed a privilege. No one can claim right upon his/her life. The greatest among the benefits one can receive from God is the benefit of being alive (Psa. 68:19; 103:3; 116:12). Will you not thank Him for that? However, being alive is for a while. People celebrate the birth of a newborn baby today, but they will later mourn his death (Eccl. 3:1-2). A Yoruba saying implies that sometimes happy times can turn into sad times. Even if you are very smart, you cannot make yourself live longer than God had ordained (Ps. 89:48; Matt. 6:27).
The crux of the Living Water dose for today has to do with how we live our lives now and what would be the end thereof. Having known that life is a privilege, it behoves you to mind the way you live your life today. Are you not misusing the privilege of being alive, judging by the way you are living your life? Are you living your life for God and others? Maybe you only live your life for yourself, if you don't want to misuse the privilege, learn to live your life judiciously by giving God first place in your life and serving Him and your generation according to His will (Matt. 6:33; Acts 13:36).
PRAYER POINTS
1. Lord, I thank You for giving me the privilege of being alive.
2. Forgive me, Oh Lord, wherever I have lived a careless life.
3. Pray for the traditional leaders, government leaders and church leaders to live their lives to serve God and their people.
SUGGESTED HYMN FOR TODAY:
CAC GHB: 746
1. All to Jesus I surrender,
All to Him I freely give,
I will ever love and trust Him
In His presence daily live
I surrender all,
I surrender all,
All to Thee, my blessed Saviour,
I surrender all.
2. All to Jesus I surrender,
Humbly at His feet I bow,
Worldly pleasures all forsaken,
Take me, Jesus take me now.
3. All to Jesus I surrender,
Make me, Saviour, wholly Thine,
Let me feel the Holy Spirit,
Truly know that Thou art mine
4. All to Jesus I surrender,
Lord, I give myself to Thee,
Fill me with Thy love and power,
Let Thy blessing fall on me.
5. All to Jesus I surrender,
Now I feel the sacred flame,
Oh, the joy of full salvation;
Glory, glory to His name!
Amen.

WHEN GOD VISITS THE EARTH...
MEMORISE
Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine (Exodus 19:5).
READ
Exodus 19:1-24
[1]. In the third month after the children of Israel had gone out of the land of Egypt, on the same day, they came to the Wilderness of Sinai.
[2]. For they had departed from Rephidim, had come to the Wilderness of Sinai, and camped in the wilderness. So Israel camped there before the mountain.
[3]. And Moses went up to God, and the Lord called to him from the mountain, saying, “Thus you shall say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel:
[4 ]. ‘You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself.
[5]. Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine.
[6]. And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.”
[7]. So Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before them all these words which the Lord commanded him.
[8]. Then all the people answered together and said, “All that the Lord has spoken we will do.” So Moses brought back the words of the people to the Lord.
[9]. And the Lord said to Moses, “Behold, I come to you in the thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and believe you forever.” So Moses told the words of the people to the Lord.
[10]. Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes.
[11]. And let them be ready for the third day. For on the third day the Lord will come down upon Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.
[12]. You shall set bounds for the people all around, saying, ‘Take heed to yourselves that you do not go up to the mountain or touch its base. Whoever touches the mountain shall surely be put to death.
[13]. Not a hand shall touch him, but he shall surely be stoned or shot with an arrow; whether man or beast, he shall not live.’ When the trumpet sounds long, they shall come near the mountain.”
[14]. So Moses went down from the mountain to the people and sanctified the people, and they washed their clothes.
[15]. And he said to the people, “Be ready for the third day; do not come near your wives.”
[16]. Then it came to pass on the third day, in the morning, that there were thunderings and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain; and the sound of the trumpet was very loud, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled.
[17]. And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain.
[18]. Now Mount Sinai was completely in smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire. Its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly.
[19]. And when the blast of the trumpet sounded long and became louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by voice.
[20]. Then the Lord came down upon Mount Sinai, on the top of the mountain. And the Lord called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.
[21]. And the Lord said to Moses, “Go down and warn the people, lest they break through to gaze at the Lord, and many of them perish.
[22]. Also let the priests who come near the Lord consecrate themselves, lest the Lord break out against them.”
[23]. But Moses said to the Lord, “The people cannot come up to Mount Sinai; for You warned us, saying, ‘Set bounds around the mountain and consecrate it.’”
[24]. Then the Lord said to him, “Away! Get down and then come up, you and Aaron with you. But do not let the priests and the people break through to come up to the Lord, lest He break out against them.”
EXPOSITION
God usually visited His people, Israel, with great authority and powerful interventions, to keep to the covenant He made with them. You remember He visited Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, but they had departed from His will. God brought the Israelites out of Egypt and told them to obey His voice. The ten plagues in Egypt were signs of the divine visitation. God came down mightily on Mount Sinai such that the people experienced His presence spectacularly. The commandments He gave them were the conditions of His love and covenant with them if they would obey Him. God is visiting you right now, in Jesus' name. He willingly visits His children. When He visits, His knowledge will be in our hearts and His glory will shine on our faces and in our lives. We pray for God's glory to be present in all areas of our lives. The key is to obey and follow His will in everything. A disobedient child won't receive abundant blessings. God is willing to give us everything if we remain obedient.
The Rechabites earned an everlasting covenant with God by obeying their earthly father. God commended them for following the commandments of their great-grandfather. He contrasted them with the Israelites who failed to obey Him. When God came to earth, He blessed His people and urged them to obey Him. He says, _Now therefore, if you will obey My voice indeed, and keep My covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure to Me above all the people; for all the earth is Mine_ (Exo. 19:5).

HOW TO MAKE AN EXCELLENT LADY FALL IN LOVE WITH YOU...✍🏾
Likes attract likes, birds of a feather flocks together. No excellent woman will look your direction talk less of accepting your marriage proposal if you do not have these qualities:
1. INTELLIGENCE: You must have it. No virtuous, super smart lady will ever give attention to a mediocre, unintelligent, mentally backward and passive man. If there is nothing in your head except football and s*x, you are not fit for marriage.
2. EXCELLENT PACKAGAGING: No one asked you to get labeled suits from France. Excellent grooming means excellent hair cut, fitting shirts, tops and trousers. Well sized shoes and neatly ironed outfits plus excellent colour combination and neatness. You are good to go.
3. LOOK PROFESSIONAL: Take your job/ business seriously and look what you sell. You can't look like a scum bag and expect her to like you. If you are a banker, dress and look like it. If you sell motor spare parts, look it. If you are a mechanic, look responsible in your over all and look sweet in your m***i. You don't have to be all black, dirty and smelly all day.
4. YOUR CARRIAGE: Lazy posture is a turn off. Stand straight. Don't drag your feet on the floor when walking. Walk smart. Exude confidence.
5. THINK BEFORE TALKING: Excellent men open their mouths with wisdom, they speak with knowledge and understanding. Stop talking for the sake of talking. Stupid jokes and senseless, meaningless discussions are for lazy, backward, visionless people. If you have nothing sensible to say. Keep your mouth shut.
6. BE KNOWLEDGEABLE: Every woman wants a man she can look up to. You must know more than her for her to respect your advise and opinion. Read wide, attend seminars, symposiums, workshop and lectures. Be an excellent researcher.
7. EXUDE CONFIDENCE: Excellent men exude confidence. Walk straight, look people in the eye when talking, learn to take firm handshake. Dress smart.
8. YOUR SPOKEN ENGLISH: Excellent men have a good command of English language. No one is perfect. We all make mistakes but if the mistakes are making you lose job interviews, chase potential customers away and confuse the congregation when preaching Jesus and hell fire, you need serious attention. Go back to school!
9. BE HARDWORKING: Excellent men are 100% committed to their job, business, ministry or vision. If you have nothing doing and you want to get married, you need rehabilitation.
10. MAKE MONEY: Excellent men know how to make money. Money is a number one romance booster in marriage. Give your wife cool cash to look good and run the home, she will enjoy love making without stress. Just as poverty deflates er****on, lack of money will make any woman frigid. Go look for job, start a business and learn to bring money home.
11. BE A GIVER: Excellent men are generous and take care of the needy. They pay their tithe and offering without delay and are excellent seed sowers. If you are stingy and tight fi**ed, no sane woman will marry you.
12. SMELL GOOD: We ladies have very sensitive nostrils. Honestly, body and mouth odour are hired killers of love and romance in marriage, they turn us off! Before you approach any lady, brush your teeth and smell good! Invest in good perfume please! You don't need to have a fortune to do that. #200 perfume are all over Oshodi market!
13. DRESS WELL: Most of the guys with marital delay are poor dressers. Shabby clothes, unpolished shoes, tangled hair are automatic turn off! Jesus was a great dresser. John couldn't tie his shoe lace, his enemies fought over his cloth and a woman bathed his feet in highly expensive, perfumed oil. You will be addressed the way you dress.
14. LEARN HOW TO APPROACH A LADY: If you shout "sssssss..." across the road or rush over her like a storm, you deserve a red card! Be a gentle man when approaching a lady. Be civil, be mature, be cautious.
