✅ ALWAYS SHOWER 🚿 AFTER ARRIVING FROM WORK OR SCHOOL

At the end of the day, when you reach home from work, lots of dust and pollen will be sitting on your body. One shower would clean all that and prevent infections or allergies.

The germs or the irritants that build up on your skin or hair can be eliminated with a shower. In fact, if you don't shower, you tend to carry all the dust to your bedroom, blankets and pillows.

When you reach home with stress, tension and fatigue, a quick shower feels like a rebirth. It removes the stiffness in the muscles and makes you feel relaxed.

📝 NOTE: if you have dry skin or if you live in dry weather conditions, it is better to shower only once a day.

YOUR PERIOD CHANGES THROUGHOUT YOUR LIFE✅

Just when you start to feel like you can predict exactly when your period is going to show, everything can change. For that, you can thank the hormone shifts that happen throughout your lifetime.

Once you get your very first period, your cycles may be longer, meaning more time may pass between when one period starts to the next. A typical cycle for a teenage girl may be 21 to 45 days. Over time, they get shorter and more predictable, averaging about 21 to 35 days.

Hormone changes that happen during perimenopause -- the years before menopause when your body starts to make less estrogen -- can throw you for a loop. The time from one period to the next may get shorter or longer, and you may have heavier or lighter bleeding during your period. This phase can last up to 10 years before you start menopause and stop getting your period for good.

📝 NB: Gradual life changes are normal, but sudden, unusual issues like very heavy bleeding or missed periods are not. Talk with your doctor if you notice that something seems off.

5 EARLY WARNING SIGNS OF A STROKE YOU SHOULD NEVER IGNORE!

A stroke occurs when an area of the brain is deprived of blood flow carrying oxygen, glucose and nutrient.

The cells in that area of the brain begin to die, and it can affect many different areas of the body. Strokes can come in varying levels of severity, from temporary numbness to paralysis, but all of them need to be treated as an emergency.
Strokes are the third leading cause of death in the world and the leading cause of long-term disability. Although strokes are more common for those over the age of 65, a quarter of the strokes recorded have occurred in those who were younger. (Source) A stroke can happen to anyone, and it is important to know the signs and be prepared. It could mean saving your life or the life of someone you care about.

There are 5 symptoms that those who are having a stroke will display.

If you or a loved one experiences one or more of these symptoms it is important to get medical assistance quickly. These symptoms are set to the acronym, BE FAST, to help you remember them if you suspect trouble.

#1 – B – Balance
Someone who has experienced a stroke will have a sudden loss of balance or coordination. Simple tasks like touching a finger to one’s nose will be impossible.

#2 – E – Eyes
Vision will be dramatically affected by a stroke. A person may experience sudden vision changes, double vision, or may even go blind in one eye.

#3 – F – Face
Many people will feel numbness in the face, or their face may droop as they are experiencing a stroke.

#4 – A – Arm
During a stroke, it is common to feel weakness in an arm. A person will also not be able to raise both arms to equal heights, or may not move one arm at all.

#5 – S – Speech
If someone is having a stroke, he or she will not be able to speak clearly. Speech will be slurred and difficult to understand.

#6 – T – Time (Not a Symptom, a Warning!)
Time is critical. If someone is suffering a stroke, call emergency responders right away and seek medical attention.

All this information can help a person who is suffering a stroke, but we obviously want to make sure that never happens. Even those who survive a stroke may have to deal with medical problems in the future.
