At 69, Mrs. Loretta Mack fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming a Registered Nurse after six years as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Her journey is a beautiful reminder that age is never a barrier to learning, growing, or achieving something meaningful.
As Mrs. Mack puts it, “At any age, you can do whatever you set your mind to do.”

75 years of Strength, Sass, and Zero Filter. Ten children. Seventeen grandchildren. A lifetime of lessons, love, and faith — and she’s still finding joy in the little things, still dressing like she means it.
This is exactly the story we want the world to see — that confidence doesn’t expire as we grow older, style doesn’t retire. And every wrinkle is proof of a life fully lived.

Ask any Nigerian elder man how he is doing and you will get the same answer. "I am fine." "No problem." "I'm managing."
It is not a lie — it is how that generation of men was built. Show no weakness. Carry it alone. Keep moving.
But behind "I am fine" there is sometimes pain that has been there for months. Blood pressure that has not been checked in years. A heaviness that has no name but sits with him every night when the house is quiet and the children are far away.
Tomorrow is Father's Day. Before you post the tribute or send the money, call him. And this time, do not accept "I'm fine." Ask again.
Ask differently. Stay on the line a little longer. He might just tell you the truth.
