EMPOWERING THE NYSC SISA... FIVE YEARS OF IMPACT.
23rd of April, 2026
Today’s mentorship session with the NYSC SISA Ruby Set 2026 was more than an engagement... it was a declaration of purpose and leadership in action.
I am Shehu Bawa Bwari, the Jagaban Sabon Bwari, and for five consecutive years, I have remained committed to raising a generation of self-reliant Nigerians through entrepreneurship and skills acquisition. This is not a promise... it is a proven track record of impact.
Through my collaboration with Dalhatu Abubakar Iya and the SISA-CDS team, we continue to shape corps members into producers, innovators, and nation builders... young men and women who understand that the future belongs to those who create value.
To the corps members I met today... your discipline, respect, and hunger for growth reflect the strength of the Nigeria we are building. You are not just participants in a program; you are a strategic force for national transformation.
We are not just empowering NYSC SISA…
We are building a generation that will replace dependency with productivity and vision with action.
Five years of consistency.
Five years of visible results.
And under my watch, this movement will only grow stronger.

Entrepreneurship & Skills Development: Niger Trainees Hit National Standard
As promised, trainees under the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Cooperatives, Niger State, have once again proven that no effort is ever lost. After just three weeks of intensive training under the leadership of Hon. Arafat Haruna Magaji, the beneficiaries have produced goods that meet national standards, complete with superior packaging that has already attracted national attention.
In recognition of this milestone, the products will be showcased at the Kaduna International Trade Fair, alongside other outstanding exhibits from across the country.
This achievement aligns perfectly with the vision of Farmer Governor Mohammed Umar Bago’s New Niger Agenda, which prioritizes productivity, value addition, and sustainable economic growth. Furthermore, the informal job creation concept championed by Amb. Umar Mohammed (Talban Samari) is already showing clear signs of impact and is poised to make significant waves.
