Dear parents, providing your kids with high-quality nutrition is the best present you can give them. The gift of healthy behaviors at an early age prevents them from having to make a difficult shift as they get older. The blessing of health and strength. Why give it to your child if you can’t eat it? As much as you value healthy “whole meals,” so do these kids! They are worth it. So you are!

Before you get too reckless with your health, please know your family health history. Know exactly what runs in your family. Is it cancer? Diabetes? Hypertension? Pcos? It helps put you in check.
The easiest way to get information about your family health history is to talk to your blood relatives about their health. That could be an opportunity to bond. Who knows? 🫣
Nevertheless, genes may load the gun, but your lifestyle pulls the trigger. 🥲🥲

Did you know? High blood pressure can increase your risk of heart attack, stroke, heart failure, and kidney disease. 🫢
Whether you’re getting it checked at the doctor’s office or checking it yourself at home, please note these correct measures to take:
-Do not eat anything 30 minutes before you take your blood pressure reading.
-Empty your bladder before your reading.
-Do not talk while your blood pressure is being measured.
-Sit in a comfortable chair with your back supported for at least 5 minutes before your reading.
-Put both feet flat on the ground. -Do not cross your legs.
-Reset your arm with the cuff on a table at chest height.
-Put cuff against bare skin, not over clothing.
Bonus tip: keep records of your blood pressure measurements, take your blood pressure at the same time every day, and take at least 2 readings, 1 to 2 minutes apart.

Many people think if they can stay lean while eating all kinds of junk food (sugar, additives, & empty calories), then it’s okay. Unfortunately, weight alone is not an accurate predictor of how healthy you are; your body composition is- that is, the amount of fat, bone, and muscle in your body.
Having a good body composition (optimal body fat, bone, and muscle) is an important part of staying healthy, as having too much fat can increase your risk of illnesses.
Irrespective of your weight, you need to eat well, exercise, and manage your stress effectively.
