Nasal polyp refers to a soft, painless, non-cancerous growth that develops from the lining of the nose or sinuses due to long-standing inflammation. Symptoms may include: Persistent nasal blockage or congestion,Runny nose or post-nasal drip,Reduced or lost sense of smell, Facial pressure or headache, Snoring or mouth breathing, Recurrent sinus infections.

Peritonsillar Abscess (PTA) — also known as quinsy — is a collection of pus that forms near the tonsils, usually as a complication of untreated or severe tonsillitis.
Symptoms include: Severe sore throat (often one-sided), Fever and chills, Painful swallowing (odynophagia), Muffled voice (“hot potato voice”)
Drooling, Difficulty opening the mouth (trismus)
Swollen, tender lymph nodes, Uvula displaced to the opposite side
If left untreated it could lead to : Airway obstruction, Spread to deep neck spaces or mediastinum, Sepsis, Recurrent abscess formation.

Adenoid Hypertrophy refers to the abnormal enlargement of the adenoid tissue, which is located at the back of the nasal cavity, just above the tonsils. Visit your ENT doctor if your child is experiencing:Persistent nasal blockage, Snoring or breathing issues during sleep, Recurrent ear or sinus infections, Delayed speech or hearing difficulties in children
A foreign body in the nose occurs when an object is accidentally or intentionally inserted into the nostril. This is most common in young children but can happen at any age.
Common foreign bodies include:Beads, Buttons, Food particles, Small toys, Paper or foam pieces
Warning signs may include: Persistent unilateral nasal discharge (especially foul-smelling), Nasal congestion or blockage, Nosebleeds, Irritability or discomfort, Bad odor from the nose
What to do:
Do not attempt to remove the object yourself, as this could push it deeper or cause injury. Promptly visit an ENT Specialist for safe removal and proper evaluation to avoid complications.
