2016 was a great year for me because it was the year I truly started my business as a brand.

My mum owned a beauty salon, and that was where I first learned most of my hair skills. I would help her after school and during holidays — those moments built my foundation in hair styling.

When I started my 8–5 job in 2011, I barely practiced hair styling again due to time. But in 2016, I decided to learn makeup to complement my hairstyling skills, and officially launched my business while still working my 8–5. I also had my first makeup training that same year.

I opened my first studio in 2017, where we trained students on makeup, wig making, and hair styling. In 2018, I finally resigned to focus fully on building Juliberry Beauty Home.

Starting a new career as an entrepreneur wasn’t easy at all 😅 but I kept pushing through every phase. Then COVID hit 😂😂 — and even with little to no visible profit, we continued with shoots, shoots, shoots, learning, and improvement without giving up.

By God’s grace, and through the help of people He sent, the brand kept growing. And from 2023 till date, I’ve been enjoying God’s divine breakthrough 🙏✨
