Wigs look luxurious and classy if you use the right care steps
Here are 3 simple steps you can take to maintain your wig, especially short ones
Brushing and Detangling
Always brush your wig gently before and after wearing it.
Use a wide-tooth comb or a wig brush made for synthetic or human hair wigs.
Start combing from the ends and move up slowly to avoid pulling or breaking the strands.
Never brush a wet wig — let it dry first.
2. Washing the Wig
Wash your wig after 8–10 wears, or whenever it looks dirty or oily.
Fill a bowl with cool or lukewarm water (not hot).
Add a small amount of wig shampoo (use mild shampoo if you don’t have one).
Gently dip and swirl the wig in the water — do not rub or twist it.
Rinse it thoroughly with clean cool water.
3. Conditioning
Apply wig conditioner or a few drops of hair conditioner to keep it soft.
Leave the conditioner on for a few minutes, then rinse with cool water.
Gently blot with a towel to remove extra water — don’t squeeze.

CAUSES OF BLEMISHES
Blemishes on the skin can be caused by a variety of factors, including:
1. Acne: Blemishes like pimples and whiteheads can be caused by the overproduction of oil, clogged pores, and bacterial growth on the skin.
2. Hormonal changes: Hormonal fluctuations during puberty, menstrual cycles, pregnancy, or certain medical conditions can lead to increased sebum production and the formation of blemishes.
3. Poor skincare routine: Not properly cleansing, exfoliating, and moisturizing the skin can result in clogged pores, inflammation, and eventually blemishes.
4. Stress: High stress levels can trigger hormone imbalances, inflammation, and impair the skin's ability to heal properly, leading to the development of blemishes.
5. Unhealthy diet: Consuming a diet high in processed foods, refined sugars, and unhealthy fats can contribute to inflammation and worsen skin conditions, such as acne.
6. Genetics: Some individuals may be genetically predisposed to developing blemishes or having certain skin conditions, like acne.
7. Environmental factors: Exposure to pollutants, UV radiation, and harsh chemicals can irritate the skin, disrupt its natural balance, and contribute to the formation of blemishes.
8. Makeup and skincare products: Using heavy, pore-clogging makeup or skincare products that are not suitable for the individual's skin type can lead to breakouts and blemishes.
9. Allergic reactions: Allergies to certain ingredients present in skincare or cosmetic products can cause inflammation, redness, and blemishes on the skin.
10. Medications: Some medications, such as certain birth control pills or steroids, can disrupt hormone levels and lead to skin issues, including blemishes.
It's worth noting that different individuals may be more susceptible to certain causes, and the severity of blemishes can vary based on a person's unique skin type and lifestyle factors.
