Fear keeps holding me back🥲😫

For years now have heard people speak about how their limitations to their desired goals or success story was finance, lack of learning resource and others may say lack of opportunity

But for me I never thought of any of the above challenges, my major challenge was FEAR. I was so scared of being seen, others may call this imposter syndrome but either ways this limiting factor held me back for years.

“What if I started and I failed?”, “ what if I started and nobody likes my work”, “ what if I start and I am not as good as I play out in my head”. So many what ifs made me crawl back into my shell and I hid there scared of the uncertainties.

Fast forward to 2024, I knew I couldn’t start this doing the same thing I did years back and expect better result, I knew it was time to come out of hiding, I broke that snail shell on the 1st of Jan so there was no where to hide, but how would I overcome my fear of “unknown?”.

In March, I saw an advert on copywriting by bossuhzi, for context; I used to write stories when I was younger so I thought to myself, why not give this a try afterall you have nothing to loose, And by God’s grace am glad I did, I paid for the course and mentorship program.

To say this program has not only brushed up my writing skills but changed everything about my mindset is an understatement , Now I know that I was my own limiting factor and all thanks to bossuhzi my coach I know that my journey as a copywriter would be a breeze, and it is the start of something great.

This past months has made me realized that if I had known what I know now when I was younger I would have being an unstoppable force. P.s I still am an unstoppable force😌

so here are 10 solicit advise that I would give to my younger self 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽

•Just do it, start now even though you are scared, start it scared

•You may not always have the bigger picture, so focus on your journey while still keeping your eyes on the prize

•Your journey or process to success is what shapens you to stay in success, so don’t try to skip the learning process

•Stop procrastination, and start putting in the work

•Don’t just work hard, work smart as well

•Put God first in anything you decide to do, and ask God for clarity and direction

•Network more and be willing to serve your way to the top, true leaders serve and don’t always wait to be served

•Make attainable goals and have action plans to achieve this goals

•Leverage on available information resources, even the free ones are valuable

•Put yourself out there, Nobody will see you if you hide yourself away, you may not be that Girl yet but there is such a thing as “learning on the job”

Bonus tip: surround yourself with a community of people who thinks positively, and be willing to let go of anybody who constantly pulls you down with words
