WE ARE CHURCH MILITANTS
St. Paul reminds us of what we ought to be as Christians in hid beautiful message in his letter to Ephesians 6:10 – 20. We are church militant, we are in a spiritual battle contending against
• flesh and blood,
• principalities against powers
• world rulers of this present darkness
• spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places
So we must put on the whole armour of God which consist of:
• Belt – fasten your belt of TRUTH
• Breastplate of RIGHTEOUS
• Shod your feet with equipment of the GOSPEL OF PEACE
• Shied of FAITH to quench all the flaming darts of the Evil One
• Helmet of salvation
• Sword of the SPIRIT – The word of God
Pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication for all the saints
AND ALSO FOR ME.
When the poor cry out, the Lord hears and saves them from distress - Psalm 34:7
MY WORDS FOR THOUGHT -
==========================
That we wake up to a new day is an indication that God is still very much interested in us.
So, let us disentangle ourselves from worldly things and tango with the Lord, for if we are not detached, we cannot attached to the Lord. His call is absolute.
The story of St. Francis of Assisi, a man from a stinkingly wealthy family but was zealous to care for the needy and the church bring to fire the visit of Jesus Christ to Martha and Mary.
We fret on so many things neglecting Christ, we fret to take care of our visitor neglecting him or her for little listening because we care to entertain our host.
When St. Francis denounced the wealth of his family, forget about the inheritance awaiting him, he sought Pope approval to have an Order to cater for the poor. He got the Franciscan Order then about 800 years ago and today the Order has produced the Holy Father, Pope Francis. Another person that wealth is meaningless less to but salvation of the soul and comfort of the poor and the afflicted.
No wonder Pope Francis said recently, when you give to the needy, do you touch there hands, do you look at their faces?
Do this so that you can touch their heart.

May God bless us

Dear Brother Matthew Olarinre
Your transitional journey home commenced again this day from where you ended the lively earthly journey initially to your house for a vigil prayer and then a commitment to the mother earth – a fulfilment of what God told Adam - God tells Adam, “For dust you are and to dust you shall return” (Genesis 3:19)
Your demise was least expected as you just entered the prime of your earthly activities – Just 54!
What do I say than to wish you safe journey to the heavenly home where the Angels and Saints dwell secured singing praise in worship of the Almighty God, who created heaven and earth and created us to have dominion during our time allocation on earth.
Even at that, your death is a devastating blow to us your blood, friends, friends of friends.
Incidentally, we have no choice than the choice of God Almighty. The only choice available to us is our solace in God that that few moments you spent, you spent it judiciously, and you left a mark which has become indelible with your passing away into eternal glory.
We shall continue to pray for the happy repose of your soul. We shall also be praying for God comfort and for the grace for every moment.
Rest in peace there brother.
May holy angels lead you forth to paradise,
And may the martyrs greet your coming home.
May you find welcome there within God’s dwelling-place,
The radiant city, New Jerusalem.

THE WONDERFUL ASPECT OF WOMEN IN THE SPIRIT OF DISCIPLESHIP
Text: Luke 8:1-3
Jesus, who changed water into the finest of wine and who multiplied bread and fish, so that thousands could be fed, chose to depend on the goodwill and support of devoted women.
His willingness to associate with them was radical, since the culture of His time frowned on them.
This women dedicated their lives to the Lord, because they had been set free and healed, and therefore, were profoundly grateful.
They offer us a wonderful example of discipleship. Their kindness and generosity were the fruit of grateful, warm and willing hearts.
We have no record of them betraying the Lord, bickering about who was the greatest, vying for position in the kingdom, or negotiating with the religious elite to hand Jesus over for money; we don’t hear of any doubt, slowness or dullness – God’'s Word.
St. Luke in his gospel made mention of Mary Magdalene, Joana the wife of Chuza, Herod’s steward and Susanna among others. They provided for Jesus and the disciples out of their means.
Do we still have such women today?

This pix represents Nigerians in the hands of The Presidency, NNPCL, Dangote Refinery and the private depot owners.
Everyone wants to cash-out massively
Only God knows how many customers & their allied Sterling Bank must have made victim in the last 8 days in this Nairaless economy
THE CARTELS:
1. Dangote to begin PMS distribution✊
2. NNPCL increase price by N300:00💪
3. Petroleum Minister keep mum.😈
4. Congresses not concerned as long as allowances and constituency allowances are regular.🤷♂️🤷🤷♂️
The masses are kept in limbo!🙆♂️😭
I discover: No one trade with God and suffer loss. All from God is good and profitable.
A notable example is my father - Late Pa Charles Omoloye Aboderin (BM). He worked tirelessly for people, the church of God and for the sake of humanity. I wish i can be as kind as he was
may the Lord God continue to rest his soul
SECURE THE FARMER AND THERE WILL BE FOOD
Dear Mr. President, Messrs. Governors,
If you have not yet realized that Nigeria is now a begging nation looking up to countries at war like Ukraine, Russia, Israeli etc. to come to her aids before she can feed her children, then we are in for it. If you have realized that as stated above and we cannot feel the pulse of your efforts, then you are using indelible mark to write the slogan for Nigeria as FOOD BEGGING NATION.
The reality of our nation is captured by Dona Summer:
Oh, I'm walking faster, faster and faster to nowhere
Oh, I'm running slower, slower and slower to somewhere
'Cause the city's closing tighter and tighter around me
It's a nightmare, daymare, it's a badmare no matter which way-mare
Seems that there must be some way to get out
But I just can't find it
People pushing (Pushing), hustling (Hustling), rushing on into the future
Windows open (Open), closing (Closing), in a way that they just never used to
Oh, there's violence (Violence) lurking (Lurking) in the alleys where no one should dare go
So keep walking (Walking) faster (Faster), faster and faster to nowhere
Trip to nowhere, trip to nowhere, trip to nowhere We're gonna take a little
You may not have realized that our roads network is a nightmare because you guys flies up and down even to your backyard even when there is no need for your needful.
Please think out of the box, be creative, go off the beaten back, break the status quo and break the rules on this matter. You have the fiat sir.
Let me highlight these for you:
1. Secure the farmer and there will be food – The only way to make yams, maize, rice, millet, cassava and potatoes available for feeding hungry Nigerians is by getting the farmers in the food basket states to go back to their farms instead of languishing in the IDS Camp all over.
2. Encourage Storage and Processing facilities and empower genuine investors and farmers in this regard rather than sharing monies and call it palliatives
3. Let your government stop the attitude looking side off but embrace the approach of buying back.
You may need to check these: Invasion Force is required to combat this menace.
1. The use of maximum force is imperative, we either deal with the core of the matter decisively with maximum force or we surrender our sovereignty to the menaces challenging our authority. As at date we are mobbing faster and faster going nowhere if our road network is still a nightmare.
2. Propagate and implement deliberate policy to establish clusters of processing facilities for farm produce to:
a. Add value
b. Facilitate export
c. Deliberate buying back from farmers
ON OUR ROAD NETWORK – Please concession the Federal roads for a period of 25 years with right clause for maintenance and sustainability of the roads
If only our governors too can re-deploy their congregations of SSA and SAs to a viable and well equipped Ministry of Agriculture for a period of Six months for training, then redeploy them to the Local Governments as Agric. Extension officers to work with the farmers for 36 months before you recall them back six months to the end of your tenure and use them for what you initially used them for – Vote canvasser and votes grabbers. This will be hard for you to do because they might no longer be available for your usage as their eyes would have been opened to the economic power of agriculture because the farmer is king and no king will want to become a slave again
Until we have an industrial revolution, Nigeria will continue to japa o!
