When my daughter was in primary 3 in her former school, one day she came back from school, crying 😭

When I asked why she was crying, she said some boys in her class told her she'll marry somebody and they'll come and eat rice(what nonsense 😡😡)

She didn't find that funny because I didn't train them like that.

I immediately called the class teacher and the head teacher as well, to warn those kids to NEVER try it again or I'll personally appear in that school and flog them myself, so they'll go and call their parents. Let me see how they'll explain to me why and how their kids of that age should be joking with things like that and where they learned it from

Yes, you might think I over did it. When it comes to my children, I can do anything to protect their innocence and happiness.

Maybe if I was a celebrity, they would have accused me of intimidating them because of my status( citing Mercy Johnson's recent case as example) 😄 because each time my kids complained of anything, I'll reach the school the next morning to go sort it out.

Imagine if my daughter would have told me such and I did nothing to stop it. The kids will keep tormenting her, she'll be dying in silence. At a point she might not want to go to school again. I'll start shouting that she hates school, not knowing, she's been bullied.

Secondly, she'll lose hope and faith in me. She'll stop telling me things (after all, the ones she told me, I didn't do anything about it). God forbid!!!

This is how children grow up not trusting their parents. This is why they grow apart from their parents. This is why they can't confide in their parents because when they tell you things, you either over react by beating them or you blame them for what they are going through

I want to talk to mothers this afternoon.

Mothers I know we are trying, but we can do better. Try to build a bond with your daughters so they can open up to you when they are passing through stuff.

Show understanding when they tell you what's going on in their lives by keeping the blame down but Counseling with love and calmness

I just concluded the most challenging therapy I started few days ago with a minor who was r***d in school by her form teacher.

You know what? She blames her mother for her ordeal. That made her to hate the mother.

She said when her abuser started harassing her newly, she came to tell her mother. Immediately she mentioned that a man is disturbing her to her mother, she gave her a deafening slap which made her to keep quite until she was finally r***d.

It wasn't easy to break through her heart to forgive her mother but thanks be to God, He gave me Breakthrough and I was able to convince her otherwise. She's been carrying this hurt for so long but she confessed to me, that I am the first person to melt her rocky heart ( to God be the glory)

See, mothers, if you don't get close to your kids and teach them what they should know when they should know it, they'll get the wrong teachings outside.

If you don't make them your friends, they will get the wrong friends outside who may destroy their lives

Don't be too strict with your upbringing, allow them be vulnerable with you, so you can know them in and out.

Draw closer to your daughters...mothers
