Born on April 10, 1986, in Port Harcourt, Alexx Ekubo (full name: Alex Ekubo-Okwaraeke) was a proud son of Abia State. He grew up in different parts of Nigeria including Lagos, Kano, and Daura, experiences that shaped him into the confident and charismatic man millions admired. ✨

He attended University of Calabar, where he studied Law, but his heart was always in entertainment 🎭. He later pursued Mass Communication and Theatre Arts, determined to chase his dream despite every obstacle.

Alexx’s journey to stardom was not easy. He started with small acting roles, attended countless auditions, and faced rejection after rejection. But he never gave up 💪🏽.

His breakthrough came in 2010, when he emerged 1st Runner-Up at the prestigious Mr Nigeria 2010 👑. That moment opened the doors of Nollywood for him.

Soon after, his role in Weekend Getaway made him a household name. From there, he became one of Nollywood’s finest leading men, starring in blockbuster movies like:
