My 1st year of business hasn't been perfect,but it's most definately been worth it!!

I thankyou all so much for all of your support during Beauty by the C's first year in business in NZ.

Having opened on December 1st 2021,whilst still struggling through lockdowns and many people having gone and still going through hardship,it has definately been a year of sharing,caring,comforting, finding our people,letting go,looking forward and filling our cup.
I have been grateful and honored to be in a position to uplift,relax,pamper, take care and help many of you to look and feel your best 🥰

For those I haven't met yet I am Cary.
I have been in the industry since knee high if we count the days of 80s DEKA makeup pallettes and playing "hairdresser's" with my mum in the lounge.

I eventually became a 'real' therapist after giving birth at 16 and adopting cystic acne as an outcome from my hormones gone wild from an unplanned teen pregnancy 😅
Skin being our biggest organ and the face being the first thing people look to when communicating,I needed to figure out quick smart how to start liking what I saw when I looked in the mirror 🙈 and so began my journey in beauty.

Inevitably my problem became my passion💖

The beauty industry has grown and continues to grow rapidly and I am all here for it and for you!
Call in,drop over the teapots always hot 🫖 and love a good chin wag.

Birthday Week 🥳 So I decided to get some filler in my lips and botox in my forehead,this pic was taken the day of treatment so lips were still swollen and had abit of bruising,it wasn't sore at all(although I'm not scared of needles,numbing cream definately helped).💋
There is a method to my madness, and although I've worked at many clinics and had access to cheap,free treatment,I've never really felt compelled to try or allow myself to get addicted to enhancements,as I know it wears off so it seemed abit pointless to me for such a huge bill at the end.💰 oh and then there's "age gracefully" or the "embrace aging" spiel.
Lucky to be born with my Maori juju's,getting abit of lip filler was abit of fun,safe to say I love them,they look full,juicy,more balanced and if could kiss them I would!
But......next year I turn 40,and I will be getting surgery on my acne scarring, so I wanted to see how injectables could help to smooth things out before I take the plunge to nip/tuck.
It was also a good chance for me to ask questions and get advice from a registered nurse who runs her business from home,as that is eventually what I will be doing💉
I highly recommend Tania Sullivan from Appearance Matters,West Harbour in Auckland,mention me when you book in to see her.

Let me start by introducing myself and 'Beauty by the C' - Me - Cary and what gave me inspiration to this chapter of my life.

Cary is one of the beauty industries most prevalent skin aestheticians with a beauty from the inside out approach.
Not only does her advice and work come from
an empathetic holistic point of view, her delivery on results are seamless and effortlessly well done.

Cary has been beauty host to an array of well known names,best known for her progressive not aggressive approach to her tailored peels, she is one of the few aestheticians who knows what it takes to see change in the skin.

Her passion of skin therapy started in her teenage years after obtaining not only adolescent acne but the worst kind 'cystic acne'. After many trips to the beautician and only seeing minimal results she decided she needed to analyze more directly the source of the problem, going on to study the anatomy and physiology of the human body gaining credits on all 11 systems of our entirety!

Cary has been in the industry for 17 years venturing out from her own business set up in Australia, working from New Zealand's most elite Clinics and Spa's, having trained in cryolipolosis, laser,IPL,microdermabrasion, hydrodermabrasion dermal needling, sonophoresis, non surgical face lift (iontophoresis) and active ingredients, these are among the many treatments she has been trained and qualified in.

Eventually one day I stopped allowing my skin to define me.

I realised I found joy in helping people over come their own perfect imperfections and helping to take the weight off by a world that is by nature held down by gravity.
