I started making soap because…
It wasn't about business. It started because I couldn't find a soap that didn't wreck my skin.

I'd tried everything — expensive brands, pharmacy ranges, 'sensitive skin' options that still left me dry and itchy. Nothing worked. So I started making my own.

I researched, experimented, failed plenty of times, and eventually landed on formulas that actually felt beautiful on my skin. Friends asked what I was using. Then they asked if they could have some. And then it became Ma's Goodie's.

Every bar we make is still handcrafted in small batches right here in Auckland. That part will never change.
