A little makeup brush in your car can be your best friend! We’ve had a lot of rain lately…which is NOT ideal when it comes to walking from the salon to your car. If you get any water marks on you, use a little makeup brush to move the tan around and it will be absolutely perfect once again. I’ve walked into a wet hedge before with a fresh tan and managed to blend the whole thing out 🤦🏽‍♀️🙌🏽

Do you really need to moisurise for a spray tan? No you don't! But you DO if you want it to last way longer and to go onto beautifully, hydrated skin. This will mean it doesn't go patchy and the tan can't cling to any flakey skin.

Moisturise and hydrate leading up to your tan. No moisturising on the day and then moisturise morning and night from the day after your tan for the best results. Oh and of course don't forget, I will know if you've moisturised with Dove or Aveeno because it turns the tan's bronzer green as soon as I start spraying!

A spray tan doesn't have to be dark. So many ladies come for a tan purely for a light, sunkissed look and an even out. This tan is Black Magic's all natural and organic Pure Magic solution which is amazing for a light tan and my go to for anyone with sensitive skin. Leave it on for 2 - 6 hours to marinate depending on how dark you want to go.

The sun might be disappearing but your tan doesn't have to. You deserve to feel good 🩵

Do you need to exfoliate before your next spray tan? 100% yes! Exfoliating removes dead skin so your tan goes onto lovely, fresh skin. This makes your tan last so much longer and it ensures that you don’t have any patchy old tan left on too. 24 hours before your next spray tan is best not right before! See you in the salon, Kim X
