Testicular Trauma on Ultrasound
Key Findings:
Irregular contour with discontinuity of the tunica albuginea in both te**es — consistent with bilateral testicular rupture
Multiple hypoechoic areas within both te**es — suggestive of bilateral intratesticular haematomas (right > left)
Heterogeneous echotexture of both te**es. Doppler demonstrates preserved flow within the spermatic cords; however, reduced and heterogeneous intratesticular perfusion, concerning for evolving ischemia
Complex fluid surrounding the right te**is — likely right-sided haematocele
Findings are highly concerning for testicular rupture with compromised perfusion.
Urgent urological evaluation and surgical exploration are recommended.
Teaching Point:
Discontinuity of the tunica albuginea with altered testicular contour is a key ultrasound sign of testicular rupture.
A case of post-cesarean scar hematoma.
The patient is 20 days post- C/S and presents with lower abdominal pain. No history of fever.
On ultrasound, a bulky uterus with a mixed echogenic area at the site of the uterine cesarean scar, with free fluid collection in the endometrial cavity.
No internal vascularity found on Doppler.
This appearance is most consistent with a post-cesarean scar hematoma.
No free fluid is seen in the abdominal cavity.
Further clinical correlation is essential to rule out other complications.
Ascites with curvilinear probe
Umbilical cord around fetal neck

WES sign, referring the appearance of "wall echo shadow" in a contracted or partially contracted gallbladder containing acoustic shadowing gallstones.

Wall-echo-shadow sign within the gallbladder fossa referring to the sign suggests either a large gallstone or multiple small gallstones filling the lumen of a contracted or incompletely visualised gallbladder.
Hepatic metastasis in breast carcinoma.
Innumerable echogenic lesions are seen in both lobe of liver with variable sizes. Few of them are having central necrosis.
